It's been a funny old week jam packed with new beauty launches (what's new there), meetings (again nothing new there) and a few nights on the tiles so I am glad for the laziness that personifies Sunday to arrive.
With a really mixed week unsurprisingly the products I have been reaching for most share the same varied feel.

This weeks nails most certainly belong to Illamasqua with myself and so many giving in to temptation and decking our nails with one of their new speckled polishes which do remind me of Cadbury's mini eggs...yum!
As i'm trying to curb my spending ways I only bought one shade which is rather good going if I say so myself as all five are so sugary sweet it is hard to not go a little crazy and buy all five shades in one go!
The shade I have is Speckle - a beautiful milky lilac that is muted enough for everyday wear yet special enough that everyone who lays eyes upon your nails will have to comment on them... complimentary of course. You can read my full review here - link.

For someone who can not get enough of nude and coral lip shades it is a little bit shocking that my most worn shade this week has been a bright matte red - MAC Party Parrot.
Sadly and annoyingly the MAC Strength lipsticks which this shade was a part of sold out within 24 hours and are now like hens teeth to source. Weirdly Selfridges have the collection live but not the lipsticks?
Debenhams were late to the party (no pun intended  and sold out rather quickly too, I'd say your best bet would be to hit your local counter and perhaps say a little prayer to the lipstick gods en route!
For some swatches and a review of MAC Party Parrot you can see my post - here.

With a matte lip most of the week my lips have been a little drier than usual and the lip balm or should I say butter for that matter which I can not get enough of is The Body Shop's Chocomania Lip Butter.
If like myself you have in the past have body swirved chocolate scented products in the past then I urge you to give this a go, not only is the formula/texture to die for but it smells exactly like Nutella chocolate spread...yum yum!

As you might have noticed MAC's Archie's Girls Collection has finally landed within the UK and my most used product from the little haul I did has to be the beautiful Pearlmatte Face Powder in Flatter Me, this adds a light peachy glow to my skin and works wonderfully well with most of my NARS Blushes.

For eyes this week it has been really simple for day wear I have been brushing on Maybelline's The Rocket Volum' Express mascara which hand on heart is one of the best high street mascaras I have used EVER.
I will have a full glowing review up soon but trust me on this one you want to pick up a tube next time you are in Boots or Superdrug!
For evening wear I rather enjoy Clinique's Chubby Stick Tint for Eyes in Whooping Willow with a black powder eyeshadow blended into the crease but being a huge fan of a smoky eye I have also been using Avon's Super Shock Liner in Steel as a base before once again reaching for deep powder shadows!

Oddly I have been wearing Kim Kardashian's newest perfume - Glam for a few days and each time I do I have had at least one person ask me what it is.
If you are a fan of sweet yet musky scents you will enjoy this, you can read an in-depth review here - link.

What have you been reaching for most this week?
