I can not believe it is now June, we are officially half way through the year and those resolutions I made on New Years Eve are long forgotten much like the happy memory jar I completely forgot to keep up with. Oh well if the year continues to go by this quickly it won't be long until I am wishing you all a very merry Christmas!
A few days ago I posted the Rainbow tag and shared some of my favourite products for the month of May, today I am going to share my favourites that didn't quite fit into the tag for whatever reason.
Amie Skin Shield Moisturiser - read the full review here
Basically this is the best budget facial moisturiser I have come across, it is light yet hydrating and contains an SPF 15 that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. A little goes a long way and I can not recommend this enough if like myself you have young and oily skin.
Weleda Citrus Deodorant - read the full review here
Oddly I am allergic to a number of deodorants and despite going to the doctors several times no-one can quite figure out what is aggravating my skin. I am however due to visit a dermatologist to hopefully get to the root of the problem but for now the one deodorant that is gentle yet effective is the fruity Weleda Citrus Deodorant. If you too struggle with sensitive skin I highly recommend trying this out, it also helps that it smells exactly like fresh limes.
Zoya Kylie Nail Lacquer
I have yet to pop up a review or swatches of Zoya Kylie but if you like coral or red nail shades you will more than likely love this shade. Unlike most coral's this has a strong red base and can be looked at two ways - a fresh spin on a red polish or a grown up coral. Either way it pops with a tan and I can not get enough of it!
Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Pink Blush - read the full review here
Summed up this is my favourite pink lipstick ever, despite being pretty light in tone it is really flattering and a great spin on a nude shade. Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Pink Blush is my fail safe lip colour along with MAC Angel. Pink Blush is my personal favourite as the creamy texture is a joy to wear.
Illamasqua Blush in Tremble - read the full review here
I'm not one for pink blushes but there is something special about Illamasqua Tremble. This bright pink may look scary in the pan but once on the cheeks it gives a light pink coral flush that reminds me of the California beach babe look that Jennifer Anniston does so well.
Escada Cherry in the Air - read the full review here
During the recent sunny spell I found myself reaching for Escada Cherry in the Air over my other scents as it is the perfect balance between fruity and clean. Escada Rockin Rio will also be a favourite of mine but for those sticky hot days Escada Cherry in the Air is the only thing that will do.
Yankee Fireside Treats - read the full review here
I'm absolutely gutted that Yankee Fireside Treats is a limited edition as it is quite possibly my favourite Yankee scent ever. It is sweet yet warm and manages to conjure up the fragrance and feeling of a warm summers evening spent outdoors. I utterly adore it and must get my butt in gear and stockpile a few more candles in this scent to see my through summer and beyond!
