The sun is shining and as far as I am concerned it is now officially okay to have a one track mind and get giddy about the upcoming summer season! If like myself you enjoy traveling fairly light so you can shop until you drop when away from home you may want to invest in some Weleda Travel Sized Essentials. With over 20 well priced (most are under £3) and sized travel bath and body products Weleda should be top of your list for summer toiletries.
Over the last few weeks I have been trying out six of the Weleda Travel Sized Essentials at home not only for blog research purposes but also for my own so I know what to repurchase to stash away in my suitcase.
Weleda Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash 20ml/£1.95* - link
For change of £2 this is a great shower product - unlike a typical shower gel this has a creamy and nourishing texture that would be great to soothe sun parched skin. If you are not a fan of rose scents I would still recommend trying out Weleda Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash as it doesn't have a typical rose fragrance it is more of a medicinal scent and for good reason too it has been formulated to de-stress both the skin and mind.
Weleda Citrus Deodorant 30ml/£5.95* - link
A light and bright fruity scent that is perfect for the warmer months. If like myself you find some deodorants to sting the skin this is one to try out as I haven't found it to irritate my under arms, however this will not prevent you from sweating so it is perhaps not the best choice for the gym etc. I have since went on to purchase the full size bottle of the Weleda Citrus Deodorant so needless to say I do rate it.
Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion 20ml/£1.95* (estimate)
This sadly isn't available online which is a little odd - perhaps it is currently out of stock? Nonetheless if you enjoy bright sunny citrus fragrances and light milky textured body lotions then you may want to consider Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion. Not only does this light emulsion hydrate the skin but a little goes a long way and it dries quickly which is always great regardless of the weather.
Weleda Lavender Relaxing Body Oil 10ml/£2.95* -link
I consider this a must have for any travel beauty bag particularly if you struggle with jet lag or sleeping in a different bed than your own you need Weleda Lavender Relaxing Body Oil. Yes it of course has a strong lavender scent but mix a few drops into your body lotion or after sun for that matter to help relax and calm. You can also pop a few drops onto your pillow to help you drift off into a natural good nights sleep.
Weleda Skin Food 10ml/£2.25* -link
A use everywhere intensive moisturiser that can also double up as a barrier cream of sorts. If you are sort of space in your beauty bag this is the moisturiser to pack as it sorts out dry skin in a jiffy and is gentle enough to use on the face too - Adele is also a fan!
Weleda Calendula Face Cream 9g/£2.45* - link
This gentle facial moisturiser has been specially formulated for babies delicate skin, that is not to say that any age can't use it. In fact I highly recommend this gentle moisturiser for oily and young skin types as it gently hydrates without overwhelming or encouraging the skin to produce excess sebum. All in all a great everyday moisturiser that I highly recommend for those with oily skin like myself.
If you are fed up of the typical high street offerings in terms of travel sized bath and body products your next port of call really should be Weleda!
This is Jeff the Fox that lives in my back garden, I'm trying so hard to befriend him but he is having none of it.
He'll eat my food, play with my cats but refuses to be my friend...life is cruel haha!

Random Fact - There is a giant mushroom in Oregon that is over 2,400 years old, covers 3.4 square miles of land, and is still growing!
These sound great! We have a fox in our garden and the cats are more upset by other cats than him! x
ReplyDeleteDitto, him and my cats play together which is really cute. I have tried filming it but they seem to prefer the night time haha! x
DeleteI love Weleda! It's such a great brand :)

I love weleda, travel size products are so cute. They make packing so fun! We used to have a fox in our garden, I used to cook him or her bacon and throw it out but he never ate it he just ran away, and when he tried to play with my cats it was in a violent.. I'm going to kill you kind of way! So you're lucky you got that far with Jeff haha! x

I love Weleda, the lemon deodorant is lovely and light and natural too which is important.
ReplyDeleteOh, please don't feed the fox!! It makes them more tame and dependant on humans, so if you go away or move they won't know how to source their own food anymore. They even teach their cubs to rely on a food source (ie you!) so they starve too.
Hey :) I should have mentioned that we were told to be the SPCA - basically he was starving (skin and bones) and has a wonky leg so they have told us to feed him for the time being and they do plan on setting humane traps so they can catch him (within the next week or so) and see what is wrong with his leg. I promise I'm not being my usual irresponsible self haha!
DeleteAww, Jeff! <3
