So we are properly into Spring now...really?
I don't mean to nit pick but there is snow on the ground and a chill in the air that would suggest otherwise
and as a result I really haven't been digging pastel shades or anything remotely "Spring" tinged in the world of make-up. I'm sure i'll catch Spring Fever soon enough but for now it's a case of winter woollies and comforting neutral shades for me!

I reviewed the NARS And God Created Woman palette over a month ago -review link and have dabbled with it fairly regularly. However this week it has become my to go to eye palette and to think I cursed myself for ever ordering it in the first place! A dinky little palm sized palette with six great neutral shades in the award winning NARS formula...what's not to like? The price and the fact it's pretty much sold out everywhere that's what!

Pure unadulterated love is the best way to describe my feelings for Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick's
at the moment my go to shade is Dolce - review link which is a warm toasted nude shade that works it's magic in any make-up situation. Think of it as your liquid version of MAC's Velvet Teddy only with superior lasting power.

As some may know a blog sale of epic proportions is coming your way (Wednesday evening to be exact) and while routing through my huge make-up collection I stumbled upon Benefit's Sugabomb Blush and have been swirling it on each day since. The beauty of this blush is that it is quite sheer so it is perfect for everyday wear, it adds a light flush of peach to the skin all the while illuminating. Although I am currently cursing the "Spring" weather this would be very fitting should the milder weather ever make an appearance.

Another week and another ode to Benefit's Fake Up Concealer, no I don't rate it highly for concealing blemishes due to it's slightly slippery texture but for the under eye area I can think of nothing better.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I more often than not leave a trial of Thierry Mugler's Alien scent in my wake and this week is no different. I went through a brief phase of only squirting on Viktor and Rolf's staple fragrance that is the floral dream Flowerbomb but this week old habits have taken grip once more and it is the sexy, deep tones of Alien that I lust after over anything else.

If faeries made candles and who's to say they don't I'm pretty sure they'd look and smell something like Best Kept Secret's  Seriously Scented Super Sevens large T-Lights. No other candles have come close in terms of presentation and I highly recommend them to all who love a little bling combined with whimsy in their life I have posted about the Sparkling Sevens kit before -review link but this week I have made my way through the last two in my box. Seemingly I can not get enough of the light and feminine scents, a new box may or may not be winging it's way to me as I speak. Come on Scottish Three Lights do me proud!

Nail wise I have been a lazy so and so, simply layering on Revlon's Girly nail polish over countless base shades to perk them up, cover chips and see what the end result will turn out like in the end. A word to the wise Revlon Girly is pretty over pastels, deeper shades not so much! If you'd like to see a swatch please check out my review -link.
