Well look no further than Giorgio Armani Eau de Parfum, a chic, casual yet powerful, grown up scent that will become an instant classic in your collection.

Giorgio Armani Eau de Parfum

By Giorgio Armani's own admission this is a chypre scent re-invented, a combination of Sicilian Bergamot, mandarin oil and liquer de cassis combine to create a silky, smooth scent that lingers on the skin. At the heart there is floral bursts, with hints of luxurious, Rose de Mai absolute, Neroli absolute and Egyptian jasmine absolute. The chypre notes really come into play within the accents of patchouli oil intertwined hints of amber, musk and vanille absolute.

In my opinion this is a luxe vanilla fragrance, not a sickly sweet, cupcake like scent but a grown up, rich, warming and comforting sweetness. As I said above this is the perfect fragrance for Winter; the vanilla combined with the juicy and again rich blackcurrant accord that is Cassis is seasonally apt and all without the need of overused spice notes. If you are struggling to find your Mother, or any female relative a gift for the upcoming festive period, I suggest this - it appeals to all ages and at the moment you can track down the limited edition packaging.
