Origins Comfort Mood Collection

Today I was lucky enough to be briefed in all things new at Origins and while the information is still fresh in my mind, I wanted to quickly share all things new with you too. I apologise in advance for mentioning Christmas this early on in the year...

First up in September the new Origins Three Part Harmony Collection launches, a clever duo of skin care products that have been designed for skin over 50 to deeply quench dried out skin, all the while adding a little luminosity and firmness to the skin. There will be two products within the collective: Origins Three Part Harmony Nourishing Cream (£60) and Origins Three Part Harmony Oil-Infused Serum (£60). I may not be within the target age group but I can vouch that the cream manages to be deeply hydrating without an overly rich, difficult to absorb texture and the serum is what I'd deem a genius product. A light, quick to absorb and hydrate milk like texture with all the power of an oil, minus the greasy texture. You can sign up here to be one of the first to be alerted about this range launching and of course other products too - link.

Come October Origins bath and body products will undergo a make over and be repackaged - think, quirky prints that reflect the ingredients inside, you can see more examples on my Instagram account here - link. The new designs almost have a NYC cool, minimalist vibe - I fully approve. If that is not enough in November a brand new Origins range will launch - Origins Comfort Mood. Three indulgent hand and body items that feature a whipped, almost soufflé texture with an abundance of Shea Butter to deeply nourish and protect the neglected areas of our bodies. The fragrance of all three items is out of this world - vanilla, orange, lemon and bergamot.

Lastly and perhaps most exciting of all the Origins Christmas Ornament will be back for 2015 and will not be exclusive to Selfridges. This year you will be able to purchase from all major retail stores and online. The Origins Christmas Ornament or bauble, will cost £12, come in two designs and contains 5 deluxe sample products including: two best selling masks, a lip gloss, Modern Friction and Peace of Mind On the Spot Relief. There is of course other gift sets and Christmas offerings too but more on that come a later date.

So tell me, is it a yay or nay in regards to the new packaging style?
And is it really to early to be discussing Christmas, I mean it is only four months away ha!
