Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask

What I am about to write about doesn't come cheap, in-fact at over £95 this may be one of the priciest pieces of skin care I own but my oh my do I enjoy using it. Why? Pocket empting price aside this mask not only moisturises and nourishes my skin but it features anti-ageing technology. Essentially this quick and easy mask is the cheats way to a fresh, plump and radiant complexion in one step.

I don't want this post to centre around the hefty price tag which I completely understand that this is extortionate but the way I see it if you often visit spa's or get facials, why not save up a few weeks and treat yourself at home. That way you have the mask at your beck and call not to mention the option of PJ's and wine should you wish ha! Another option is you and a few friends chip in together and have a pampering session at home? As you can most likely tell I can justify just about everything hence why my bank account seldom looks healthy. Double ha.

Now Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask has a rose scent but it is light and delicate, bearable even for those that have an aversion to rose fragrances. I truly enjoy the aroma of Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask and find it to be rather relaxing and spa like. The mask itself is a pale pink, thick balm like cream that feels more like an upmarket moisturiser than facial mask. You apply a thick layer of Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask, sit back and relax for 15 minutes and then blot off any excess. Unlike other face masks this will not dry to a crispy layer but it settles into your skin allowing it to soak up and of course reap all the benefits. My dried out skin seems to rather enjoy the shea butter base leaving it instantly softened and plumped for added moisture there is also the addition of vegetal glycerine and vitamin B 5 to help the skin self repair. As mentioned above this mask has been created restore youth be it smoothing out and plumping out lines, adding radiance to the skin or moisturising deeply - it does it all. I should also mention that the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask has just scooped the prestigious Instyle Beauty Award for Best Face Mask 2015!

It may not be the fountain of youth but if you want to freshen up your complexion and reverse the ravages of the currently bleak British weather you could do a lot worse. Beans of toast for the rest of the month anyone?
