Clarins Eye Contour Balm

Are you in your twenties or even late teens and worry about ageing yet have no visual signs?
Me too, particularity my eye area (I rub my eyes far more than anyone should) and fear that one day I will awaken to deep set lines. I know that won't happen overnight but I worry none the less yet every lotion and potion for the eyes that is anti-ageing is aimed at those a little older and most likely too heavy for my needs.
Enter Clarins Eye Contour Balm, the eye cream every youngster with the same concerns should own and use...

Don't let the "balm" aspect put you off Clarins Eye Contour Balm it is in-fact a light, silken lotion in terms of texture that instantly absorbs into the skin, it cools and calms instantly and generally feels wonderful on what most would deem a delicate area. I may be in the minority (I have no real idea) but eye creams seem to make my eyes water and sting, well you will be happy to know that this is not the case with this product. Rather I have found myself applying this a little more than recommend to help soothe my currently bloodshot and puffy eyes due to the annual joy that is hayfever.

So what exactly does Clarins Eye Contour Balm do? It is of course an eye cream of sorts so it hydrates and soothes the skin much like I said before. However being an anti-ageing product it does so much more, with continuous use it can help protect the vulnerable skin around the eye using a blend of ultra gentle and nourishing Shea Butter which can help to restore elasticity. It also includes Chicory to heal the skin and Cereal Seeds to revitalise the skin. It is one of the few eye creams that I own in which I can apply make-up immediately after use and experience no problems, if fact I'd go as far as saying it provides a lovely, even base to do so. Clarins do state that this can minimise the look of wrinkles, fine lines and crows feet which I can't comment on but for us with younger skin it is more than enough to keep the eye area looking fresh as well as hydrating. Will it ward off the signs of ageing? Only time will tell but for now I am more happy in the knowledge knowing that I am being proactive, prevention is better than a cure after all. At £30 this is not all that cheap but a little goes a long, long way - if you only apply this twice a day I'd guess one tube would easily last for around 4-6 months. I kid you not.
