The Daily Beauty Report (24.06.14)

Cheryl Cole StormFlower Fragrance

Here is what happening in the beauty world at the moment...

Calling all Cheryl Cole fans (I mean who doesn't love her?) the pint sized uber babe will be launching her own fragrance later this year. Now very little has been announced but I expect it will do very well, I'm not one for celebrity fragrances but this has my attention! So here is what we know so far "Cheryl Cole StormFlower is a unique scent that has been created to capture the many facets of Cheryl’s personality." My guess is it will be rather floral and delicate (perhaps rose based due to that tattoo?), what do you think?

One of my favourite under eye products ever (and I mean EVER) will undergo a rose gold make over. I could of course only be talking about YSL Touche Eclat. "This summer the brand is paying tribute to the pretty hue, even transforming its classic Touche Éclat highlighter pen into a rose gold version of its former self, which will be part of YSL's limited-edition Rose Glow collection. It has been designed to add radiance to the face. The Touche Éclat Or Rose is joined by a Rose Gold Primer and Rose Gold Face Powder for the same lightly-flushed glow - tying neatly into spring's love affair with pink - and a rich cerise blush compact and pink-toned blush brush complete the collection.Exclusive to Boots from July 16. Prices start at £25." Roll on July!

NARS Summer is nearly upon us! "NARS Cosmetics has announced the launch of three limited gift sets for summer. Sets available include: Uninhibited; containing the Dolce Vita Lipstick, Lip Gloss and limited edition Nail Polish; Climax, which features a pink theme with a Lipstick, limited edition Lip Gloss and Nail Polish; and Maitresse, offering a red theme across a Lipstick, limited edition Lip Gloss and Nail Polish." Look out for it launching via Selfridges from the 1st of July.

I don't quite have a spare £160 to splurge on fragrance but I would be lying if I said the prospect for a lather based fragrance doesn't grab my attention. "Fragrance brand Floris London have announced the launch of two new fragrances exclusive to Harrods. New Leather Oud is an oriental woody scent that comprises top notes of bergamot and leather, heart notes of carnation, geranium, oud and patchouli, while oud, vetiver and woody amber form the base. Honey Oud features top notes of bergamot and honey, heart notes of oud, patchouli and rose, while amber, labdanum, oud, musk and vanilla are at the base." These hit Harrods exclusively on the 30th of July.

I have no idea if the Maybelline Color Tattoo Leather collection will ever hit the UK but highly recommend having a quick Google search of the shades if you like muted neutrals. You will be able to pick them up fairly easily on Amazon and eBay as they have been made permanent within the US.

One of my favourite blondes in terms of hair inspiration has to be Holly Willoughby so this is news to my ears! "Beauty brand Garnier have announced TV presenter and co-author Holly Willoughby as its new UK brand spokesperson. Holly will star in her first campaign for Garnier Nutrisse Pearly Blondes, airing nationwide from 4 July. Garnier Nutrisse Pearly Blondes is a new collection of hair dye comprising four blonde shades that have been created with a unique blend of multi-tonal blonde technology for long-lasting, multi-dimensional blonde colour from root to tip. Key ingredients include avocado, olive and blackcurrant oils to help leave hair feeling soft, shiny and healthy." How exciting!

Have a lovely evening!
