This week has been more of a skincare week than anything else and what better place to start...

My skin has been a little delicate of late and although I truly do adore Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm I have found it to be a little too much for my skin at the moment. In its place I am using Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel which is gentle yet effective. It immediately melts into skin tor remove all forms of make-up and daily grime. Like most cleansing balms/gels this emulsifies into a milky substance when combined with water for a deep but gentle cleansing experience. I find this a little more suited to my current needs and do recommend it to those who prefer a cleansing gel opposed to a balm or oil. Find it via Cult Beauty for £32.50 - link.

Speaking of gentle products I have grown to love The Body Shop's Chamomile Gentle Eye Make Up remover.A quick swipe of this non-oily formula and all traces of mascara (granted it is not a waterproof formula) are removed. It's gentle, easy to use and well priced as a little goes a long way. Find it via The Body Shop for £8 - link.

Lastly on rotation in my skin care stash is Origins Plantscription Youth Renewing Oil which is probably a little to advanced for my age and skin concerns but I really like the light oil texture which doesn't overwhelm my oily skin. I have been applying it in the evening and awake to softer skin, it also doesn't affect my milia prone forehead which I always take into consideration. You can find it here for £38 via John Lewis - link.

I'm having a little trouble sleeping at the moment and I'm back on the Avon Planet Spa Sleep Serenity Bandwagon. I have used this in its various guises and name changes since I was a young teenager and find it is the only thing that really helps me to relax and nod off. How much of that is a placebo I don't know. You can find it here - link.

As someone who loves a clumpy lash look I am surprised by how much I like Sleek Make Up Lethal Length Mascara, a great every day black mascara that lengthens and defines the eyelashes.
The brush is a great size and shape meaning you can add a good few layers without it clumping - the result is long, fluttery lashes. Find it here - link.
