Yep I am a huge fan of Lana Del Rey, she is flawless and I adore that she tends to favour a classic, retro look as far as her hair and clothing go yet look at her hands and she has huge big ghetto-esque claws.
Ms Rey does tend to be spotted with various hues of nude almond shaped nails with the odd glitter accent here and there.
With that in mind I channelled my inner Lana and instead of plumping for some wacky design when I visited the lovely Lia at Swoon Nails I asked for a more muted approach with some autumnal shades of glitter in gradient to jazz things up. The end result is a very Lana Del Rey meets Chanel and I couldn't be happier - it's classic yet funky and as no claw shaped nail is complete without a little ghetto flava-a-flav yes one of my nails does have a gold plated f-bomb decal...whoops!
As always I can't recommend Lia enough if you live in Glasgow or are just passing through book yourself in for a set of nails, she really is amazing and I can guarantee that you will walk away with a huge smile on your face as well as a kick ass set of nails of course!
