I liken Vichy Idealia Life Serum a little to Estee Lauder's new Advanced Night Repair only this serum is a little lighter in texture and has an illuminating, opalescent texture which is made up of golden and red pearls to add a quick boost of radiance to the skin - the overall effect is very subtle and is somewhat similar to MAC's Strobe Cream. The texture leaves is as mentioned light, non greasy, quickly absorbed and the product forms a protective film on the skin’s surface to protects the skin from the micro particles that collect on the surface throughout the day. It is suggested that you use the serum both day and night in conduction with your regular moisturiser but I have only been using it in the morning and will state that it hydrates the skin while leaving it glowing, is the perfect base product for applying make-up on top off and although it does brighten immediately I rather like knowing that once applied I am guarding my skin against all the day can through at it.
