You may be more aware of Takashi Murakami than you are aware as he has collaborated with top designers such as Louis Vuitton and Issey Miyake, I personally lusted after one of the bags that he and Louis Vuitton launched many moons ago. The little cute smiley faces imprinted on a large soft squishy tote bag was pretty much all my pre-teen heart lusted. Anyway this time around Takashi Murakami lends his signature and dare I say it cute style to the world of cosmetics via Shu Uemera.
Basing the designs on his upcoming animation series 6HP (Six Hearts Princess) and focusing on the pink and black princess characters from such series each product is beautiful presented with a gentle nod towards Christmas too. Not only will there be exclusive and limited edition palettes available within the collection but the pretty prints will also adorn a few of Shu Uemera 's best selling products. I for one will be snapping up a few products even if just to satisfy my 13 year old dream!
Takashi Murakami for Shu Uemera will available at Selfridges from October 10 and later nationwide from November.
Love the palettes and the packaging is soooo cute! Xx
