Victoria's Secret Bombshell Eau de Parfum

First of all how annoying is that we have a Victoria's Secret store within the UK (London's Bond Street and a boutique in Westfield Shopping Center) and yet no online store? Crazy isn't it!
However I did read today that the brand has plans to expand further into the north of England with three new stores given the green light : Manchester Trafford Center (apparently opening on August 8th) with Shefeild and Leeds following a few days later. Cool beans and all that but what about us further north of the border and our Irish cousins? Sort it out Victoria's Secret a web store isn't a big ask at all.

The reason for my rant is purely because I have become hooked on the sweet smelling sprays, lotion and potions that the brand with the cute pink and black striped bags offer. Forget the underwear (which doesn't accommodate anyone over a DD cup....really?) the bath and body items are where it's at and my current favourite has to be Victoria's Secret Bombshell Eau de Parfum.

When I first bought this I knew instantly that it reminded me of something but I just couldn't place it. Cue a week of daily sniff tests until the gears in my brain finally solved the puzzle. It smells almost exactly the say as Gucci Rush 2 (i'm known for my bloodhound like nose) only this tends to wear better and longer on my skin not to mention it is a smidgen fresher and fruitier. Basically if you like Gucci Rush 2 I urge you to test this out at the first available opportunity as I know that it is something you will enjoy.

Victoria's Secret Bombshell is strong in that a few sprays will last you all day and linger on the skin but once dried down the scent is fairly light, uplifting and somewhat sexy. Yes it is a fruity floral but almost with a grown up edge - it is hard to fully describe but if ever there was a fragrance to take you from day to night with ease this is it. The top notes include Tangelo, pineapple, strawberry, purple passion fruit with more fruity floral notes at the heart - Jasmine, red berries, muguet, Shangri-la peony, vanilla orchid and the base is constructed of Musk, blonde woods, oakmoss. To me it is the equivalent of dressed down sexy and a great every day scent.

Random Fact - Victoria's Secret Angles are chosen for their appeal to women not me. I can see that there's not an "Angel" I wouldn't want to look like.
