Sunday Shopping the Stash

I'm sure we have all misplaced various cosmetic items only to find them in the most random of places...a suitcase, under your bed...in your underwear drawer? The last option may or may not be a confession of sorts. Today I have gathered up all my so called "lost" items and plan to put them to use in the coming week via the means of Sunday Shopping the Stash.

Sunday Shopping the Stash

Hidden within the pockets of a Hello Kitty over night bag which I'm not entirely sure is my own happened to be two of my lost and forgotten MAC blushes - a cream and a powder formula no less. First up we have Peachykeen a shade that is so neglected within my stash I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I wore it or when I purchased it for that matter...oops. However I do promise to put the light coral blush to use over the next week or so. Now the cream formula MAC Optimistic Orange I'm making no promises on - rather I will apply it one day and if it doesn't appear to clown like it will stay on my face otherwise it is nothing a little cleansing oil can not sort out.

I have been searching high and low for my MAC Archie's Girls Flatter Me Pearlmatte Face Powder everywhere...I say everywhere basically I looked in a few make-up bags and gave up. I oddly found this stashed inside a huge purse (wallet if outside the UK), I have no idea why and as I seldom drink I can't even blame it on that. Que sera. As beautiful as this powder is it really does lack in pigmentation, I find it works best when used as a subtle highlighter.

Now on to the underwear drawer which let's face it has really gripped your attention from the get go...I kid of course! Well right at the back of said drawer tucked under a mountain of bra's and other undergarments was my Urban Decay Vice palette - oddly I don't think this was my doing as when I opened it a shade was gone (matte bright blue) and a few have cracked. My guessing is someone has borrowed it, dropped it and stashed it! Naughty indeed but I am glad to have such a monstrous palette back within my grasps.

I found my lip products where all good lip products go to die...the bottom of numerous handbags. I could kick myself as I have just stumbled across a Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick in Fraise Remix that is brand spanking new. I simply have to use it this week, it would be a shame not to. Another product rolling around the pit that is my handbag was a Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie which is not a favourite of mine in any shape or form. This week I adhere to getting some use from it be it mixing or layering it with other lip products to create a more wearable shade.

Oddly all I found under my bed was one tiny little nail polish which is rather unlike me. If you are fed up of pretend neon pinks and want something shocking and glaringly bright you must pick up Pixi Summer Pink.
It is the neon pink to end all neons and I will be painting my little piggies with it later on in the day.

Quick go and turn your house upside down and see what hidden make-up treasures you can find!

Random Fact - The major sunken-treasure areas are the Gulf of Mexico, the western Caribbean, and the waters off the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, Bermuda, and the Azores. They hold the hulks of Spanish treasure ships that sank while carrying riches from the New World, 1500–1820.
