MAC Cherry Lip Liner

If I could recommend one lip product to every single person out there it would be MAC's Cherry Lip Liner. Now I'm not normally a subscriber of one size or shade suits or fits all but trust me when I say MAC Cherry Lip Liner is the one product that I truly do believe does just that.

Most of us will have a least one blur or classic red lipstick or perhaps crave a red of that description and that is where MAC Cherry enters. You can either use MAC Cherry to line and define your lips before applying your favourite red lipstick (I personally like to use Cherry with MAC Ruby Woo or MAC RiRi Woo) or you can use the lip liner on its own for a matte red lip. Despite being a waxy matte lip pencil the formula does feel somewhat creamy on the lips and glides on without pulling or tugging at the lips. If you do wear MAC Cherry Lip Liner on it's own I highly recommend pairing it with a lip balm or gloss to hid hydrate your lips as with any lip liner when worn as a lipstick it can be rather drying.

As earlier mentioned MAC Lip Liners do have a firm and waxy type texture which may not sound appealing but such formula is your secret weapon against bleeding or feathering and will really cling to the lips so wear time is nothing short of exceptional. If you need a long wearing yet fresh red lip choice I highly recommend MAC Cherry as when worn alone it tends to wear on my lips throughout eating and drinking for close to 4 hours before fading to an even stain which most lipsticks can not compete with. Add MAC Cherry Lip Liner to your make-up bag I promise you won't regret it, in-fact you may thank me in the coming months!

P.S I apologise for the current state of my lips, they have taken what can only be described as an allergic reaction to a product over the last few days and I have no idea what!
