This week I have been attempting to create a simple, natural yet beach bronze look that is appropriate for everyday wear and I have found that less is definitely more for such look. I'm not sure I have quite perfected what I set out to achieve but along the way I have rediscovered some great products.

All week long I have wore little more than Clinque's CC Cream, I've spoken about this CC Cream a good few times and reviewed it in full here - link and can quite honestly say it is my favourite light base ever. It hydrates the skin, conceals blemishes and gives the skin a matte but natural finish. I highly rate Clinique's CC Cream and will be using this all summer long in place of MAC's Face and Body Foundation. Speaking of summer this CC Cream contains an SPF 30!

Another product that I have mentioned countless times is Benefit's Fake Up Concealer - review link, this is my go to concealer for my under eye circles. It slicks on like a balm, hydrates the delicate under eye area and conceals any signs of fatigue. Truth be told it could do with being a little more pigmented to really cover super dark circles but as it doesn't crease and does the job most of the time I find myself reaching for it more often than not.

On my cheeks this week I decided to go for a slightly pinker than my normal coral blush and have been brushing on Illamasaqua Tremble Blush which admittedly does gleam a little coral once applied. One thing is for sure when teamed with a golden highlighter - in my case Benefit's Sun Beam it gives a healthy summer ready glow.

To know me is to know that all I wear is neutral eyeshadow and lashings of black mascara. For the week past I have been gently patting on Maybelline's Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze and on occasion deepening my crease with the darkest shade in the MAC Bare My Soul quad. Over the past few days I have been testing out Eyeko's Fat Brush Mascara which has left my rather undecided. I like that it lengthens my eyelashes but I don't find it to be all that wonderful for adding volume, this may change once the mascara dries out slightly?

My go to lip combination at the moment is Laura Mercier's Pink Blush Creme Smooth Lip Colour which is one of the most perfect light pink lipsticks ever but teamed with Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in Nude and it becomes so much more special. To try this combination is to love it.

I'm so happy with this past weeks choices that I dread having to switch it up again tomorrow!
