You never really understand the importance of a great dry shampoo until your hair really needs it and I don't mean oh my hair is looking a little flat let's spritz a little in, I mean those days when you've put off washing your hair a little longer than you should and you could fry an army of breakfasts on your head.
There's no shame in having slightly greasy hair every now and then, in fact I have been encouraged at the moment to forgo my daily washes to around every third day to allow my hair to recover from it's recent bleaching.

Before trailing TIGI Catwalk Session Series Transforming Dry Shampoo I deemed all dry shampoo's pretty the same and lived by the cheaper the better as I never found them all that great and truthfully Batiste do a great budget line. However up until now I did find that most dry shampoo's wouldn't absorb fully into my hair despite how vigorously I may tease it into my roots, there was always a white cast and I was well aware of a heavy powder like residue on my scalp. I won't dispute that most do an okay job of disguising greasy roots but I often felt that refreshing the hair was overselling it slightly.

For those reasons alone dry shampoo was never something I leaned on all that heavily until I first sprayed TIGI Catwalk Session Series Transforming Dry Shampoo onto two day old hair. Now the first thing I noticed was the string scent which is rather musky and not a personal favourite but it does subside after a few moments and is not what I'd call pungent. I'm guessing the heavy fragrance is to hide the tell tale signs of a heavy night out? Scent aside this dry shampoo is pretty special it actually hides and absorbs excess oil without coating my hair with a powder residue nor does it take forever to rid brown or deeper hair of the white cast this kind of product goes hand in hand with. What it does is lightly refreshes the hair, adds volume and unlike the cheaper versions it doesn't just do it for a few hours it does so for the entire day. I absoultly adore this dry shampoo and have found it a complete life line for skipping a wash here and there.

Also if like myself you have a fringe (bangs) and find that it gets greasy quickly then you pretty much need this on your bathroom shelve for those days you don't have the time to do give a quick wash in the sink.
Don't you dare judge me I know I'm not the only one haha!
