It's been a while since I have fallen for any other cleanser, you see I find it very difficult to cheat on my beloved Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel but sometimes I need or want something a little quicker and easier to use. Enter Clarins Water Comfort One Step Cleanser...I do think Clarins may be my favourite skin care brand, there is very little I don't like by said brand.

Essentially Clarins Water Comfort One Step Cleanser is essentially an micellar water which I have only just learned comes in two variants one for dry/normal skin (comfort) and one for oilier skins (purify) which I will have to pick up once I have finished my current bottle. However I haven't encountered any problems with Clarins Water Comfort One Step Cleanser despite it not being suited to my skin type, perhaps because it is aimed at drier skin types is the reason why it has not dried out my skin like other micellar waters?

To use I simply soak a few cotton pads with this non-oily liquid, quickly swipe them all over my face including my eyes and tend to be amazed at how well it cleanses. I will level and say that I prefer this as a general cleanser opposed to an eye make-up remover but if in a push I would happily use this as it is efficient and doesn't sting the eyes. Admittedly this is not my only cleanser, I'm one of those that has to deeply cleanse each night before I can rest but I will say that I would rather use this over cleansing wipes any day!
If you are looking for a good water based cleanser that you can use in a hurry make your way to your local Clarins counter and snatch a bottle of this up...step aside Bioderma there's a new water based top gun cleanser in town!
