Rimmel are fairly knocking out new and very exciting products at the moment, one new addition set to take the beauty world by storm is their new Exaggerate Undercover Eyeshadow Primer.
At the moment the UK high street is severely lacking on eyeshadow primers that are budget friendly.
Off the top of my head I honestly can not name one UK drugstore brand that offer a primer specifically
formulated just for eyeshadow?
I know MUA did offer one but that seems to have disappeared and sure ELF do a great few eyelid primers
but as you can only order them online they are not the most convenient of brand.

The new Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Eyeshadow Primer comes neatly presented within a lip gloss style tube and features a doe foot applicator, although I am not the biggest fan of such applicators there is no denying that for this type of product they work rather well.
To use I simply dab on a few dots of primer on each eyelid and blend using my ring finger - fast, simple
but very effective.

Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Eyeshadow Primer is a white silicone based primer that once applied to the skin disappears completely leaving the skin feeling silky smooth and perfectly primed for applying any eye product on top of.
As it is silicone based it blurs and fills imperfections such as fine lines and enlarged pores,
another benefit I find with silicone based products is that they mattify the skin which is a blessing for an oily skinned person like my little self.
I do think it is only fair to point out that some do react adversely to silicone based primers so I would patch test this on an area of skin before merrily applying all over the lids...better safe than sorry!

Not only does Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Eyeshadow Primer help keep eyeshadow in place all day,
so far I have found it to be a complete wonder product for preventing cream eyeshadow from slipping
but I also find that it intensifies any product applied over the top of it.
So if you have a shade of eyeshadow that you lovely dearly but feel it is lacking in pigementation, apply siad shade over a thin veil of this primer and watch it come to life!

Does Exaggerate Undercover Eyeshadow Primer compare to pricier eye lid primers out there?
In a word yes, it blurs imperfections, creates a great even base, amplifies any shade place on top
and prevents products from slipping and creasing!
What more can you really ask from an eyelid primer?
