Have you ever owned a lipstick that you simply can not keep hold of?
No matter how careful you are it forever seems to disappear only to show up after you've given up and begrudgingly bought a new one?
For me that seems to be MAC Shy Girl hence why it has taken me so long to sit down and rustle up a post with a quite colour summary and some swatches.

MAC Shy Girl is listed on the MAC website as an creamy neutral coral beige which is a long winded
way of deeming it to be a light peach nude shade, in my opinion it has yellow undertones
and is neutral in tone.
Shy Girl is a great everyday nude shade that doesn't tend to wash out most skin tones
and is a great variation of a typical nude thanks to it's slightly pink/peach leanings.

Not only is Shy Girl a staple shade for many a beauty blogger
but it is also rumored to be a firm favourite with Miley Cyrus too!
A combination of the perfect pinky peach shade and cremesheen formula - light, hydrating, glossy and soft,
make it a contender for a top spot on my list of must have  MAC lipsticks.
The only downside is that it is not the longest lasting formula with around 2 hours of wear per application
but that is what compact mirrors are for eh?
