I think it is fair to say that I am quite the candle/wax tart addict,
I'm okay with that as long as I don't get on to the heavy stuff like scented oils...I jest of course
but at least with my slight addiction I can guide you on what scents to seek out and which ones are pretty rank, if scent is what you look for most in a candle then I feel you should switch to wax tarts
as they cost less and boy, oh boy do they scent up a room...or even a full house!

Now today's instalment was saved until last as it is a little random in terms of scent choices,
most of the varieties are new to the UK for the Autumn/Winter but perhaps not the typical fragrances
you would associate with the Autumn months.

Yankee Crisp Apple Strudel
This is a part of the Favourite Things collection which is based on the song of the same title
from The Sound of Music, a sweet concept wouldn't you agree?
Sadly I have not been able to track down the Whiskers on Kittens scent which pains me
as an avid cat lady but this scent is based on the German dessert pastry and combines crisp
dessert apples with a sweet raisin note which is toned down with a slight cinnamon note.
If you are a fan of rich, warm apple scents then I can't recommend this enough.

Yankee Milk and Cookies
What annoys me about Yankee is that they more often than not use the same fragrance various
candles/tarts yet give them the same name, I don't know about you but I feel cheated when this happens.
Unsurprisingly Milk and Cookies is distinctively similar to Yankee's Vanilla Cupcake scent,
which is a favourite of mine but a new vanilla based scent every now and then wouldn't go a miss!

Yankee Moon on their Wings
Another scent from the Favourite Things Collective and without being too much of an enabler
I am going to have to insist that anyone who desires a dreamy pre-bedtime scent
snap at least one of this scent up as it is amazing!
It has a slight lavender scent but thing relaxing not old lady on the bus,
if you have ever used Avon's Sleep Therapy range or Johnson's Bed Time Bath products
then you will understand as this is essentially that but in wax form.
I've burnt mine completely and have just bought a good few wax tarts in this scent (they last longer)
and plan on using it each night for an hour...bliss.

Yankee Root Beer Float
I told you there would be some odd additions!
I was always under the impression Root Beer was something like Dr.Pepper?
Well this has a definite bubble gum scent, to me it smells identical to Juciy Fruit chewing gum
and is surprisingly one of my new favourite scents...I'm an odd bug what can I say.

Yankee Whoopie Pie
Chocolate lovers rejoice as this is truly a yummy chocolatey scent.
Truthfully when it comes to fragrances I do tend to avoid chocolate notes
but as this is identical in scent to Brownie/Chocolate cake batter I think I can let it slide.
Yes this is rich, yet sweet at the same time without being overly artificial.

Now I shall leave you in peace without any candle/wax tart updates until Halloween.

As usual I bought these via eBay with my usual seller - link
