I have to be honest and say that it took me quite a while before I parted with my pennies
and bought any Real Techniques Brushes, when they first launched everyone went mental for them
(and rightly so) but as brushes isn't something I am ever all that short off I held off until Boots did a 3 for 2 offer and that wasn't yesterday.

Over the course of this year I have slowly and somehow accumulated the entire line...okay slight exaggeration I don't own the lash/brow comb and last week saw me go back re-purchase two brushes
I already own so if that isn't brush love (did anyone ever read about the lady who thought a roller coaster was her boyfriend? I'm sure I also read about someone who married a dolphin? I'm not marrying my brushes just thought I'd share some unconventional love stories with you all.) I really don't know what is.

The two brushes that I now own duplicates off are the Blush Brush which is one of the softest brushes you
will ever encounter and as it is big, fluffy yet tapered it makes blush application a breeze.
I particularly like this brush as sometimes I like to use a matte blush in a browny pink shade to not only add
a hint of colour but to also contour my cheekbones slightly and the tapered tip gives me the precision I crave.
The other brush that is a firm favourite and one I use everyday is the stippling brush.
Initially I thought that the stippling brush was too small too be used to apply my foundation but boy
was I wrong despite being petite it allows me to effectively and swiftly buff liquid foundation into my skin
giving a perfect finish each and every time and as the head is dainty it is great for getting into hard to reach
areas such as the side of my nose and eye area.
You can also use this brush to

All of the brushes in the Real Techniques range are synthetic so not only are they cruelty free but they
happen to be the softest of soft in terms of bristles, they don't shed or splay and never stain even when
using highly pigmented products.
