I say it constantly but MUA is the brand to watch, they are constantly innovating
and releasing new products for make-up junkies but unlike other brands the entire range is purse friendly!
One of the latest releases is a line of four gel liners which come in mostly muted everyday shades
such as black, brown and grey but there is one bright shade to be had in the form of a bright electric blue.

Each eyeliner comes presented in small round plastic tubs that have a large pointed handle,
inside the handle is a small, fine eyeliner brush that can either be clipped on to the base for a longer
more weighted brush or used on it's own which is my preference - small, chubby hands and all!

I was sent two shades to test out, On the Move which is a deep brown with a slight burgundy duo chrome effect and copper glitter - in terms of colour it reminds me a little of Mac Beauty Marked eyeshadow.
The other shade is Fairground, a deep metallic pewter that has a blue undertone and is a fantastic alternative to black liner or a less harsh approach - a complete winner for blue/grey eyes.
Both shades have great colour pay off and are pretty much universal in terms of colour.

Texture wise they are very soft so they are really easy to apply and blend,
although soft they do dry fairly quickly not so quick that you have to rush application
but in a timely fashion so you do not end up with smudges of eye liner everywhere!
I have to be truthful and state that the MUA Gel Liners are best applied in a thin layer
as I have found them to dry to a rough, flaky finish when applied heavily.
That being said when applied in a fine layer of sheered out over the entire lid they were
exceptionally well and on my oily skin type they survived 8 hours and perhaps longer
had bed not been calling!
All in all a great budget gel liner that comes in four great shades and wears just as well if not
better than quite a few others out there.

MUA Gel Eyeliners* cost £3 each from Superdrug, they have yet to launch on MUA's web store
but will in due time.
