Recently launched just in time for the Summer season is the Clarins Enchanted Summer collection
which has been inspired by the Indian Festival of Colour.
The collection has 10 pieces in total ranging from subtle lip shades to beautiful bright and bronze eyeshadow
shades and with a new bronzing duo, there truly is something for everyone.

The first item from the collection I would like to share is a firm favourite within the beauty world,
I am of course speaking about none other than the Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balms which are available in a large variety of shade options including two new additions for the Enchanted collective - Pink Jaipur and Nude Delhi.

There is not a whole lot to be said about the packaging , Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balms
are presented in long slim squeeze style tubes and have a nozzle style applicator.
As the balm is fairly thick I have not found them to leak and the slanted nozzle tip applicator not only dispenses the product well but is also a helpful aid when it comes to spreading the balm over the lips.

As I earlier mentioned two new shades have joined the Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balms - Pink Jaipur and Nude Delhi both of which are limited edition so get them while you can ladies and gents!

I have the truly mesmerizing Pink Jaipur to share but have a sneaky feeling that I may pick up Nude Delhi
today while shopping...shhh!

Pink Jaipur is a bright pink gloss/balm that has an abundance of golden shimmer scattered throughout,
the golden shimmer fleck reflect light exceptionally well and add a slight yellow tone to the pink gloss
resulting in the over all shade having an almost coral pink finish.

I would say that Pink Jaipur is most definitely a duo chrome finish as in some lights it reflects pink
yet in others it takes on more of a golden finish appearing almost rose gold.
In my opinion this shade is universally flattering and as it is a balm/gloss hybrid you can layer it over
other lip products to best suit your skin tone and preferences.

As stated Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balms are a blend of both lip balm and gloss.
Essentially Clarins have taken the best aspects of both and combined them to form what I would deem
a wonder product !

The Colour Quench Balms have the texture of a thick liquid lip balm and the finish of a high shine lip gloss.
Admittedly I do find the balms to be a tad on the sticky side but they are truly hydrating, sit comfortably
on the lips without bleeding, apply well with an ample dose of pigmentation and seem to last a little longer on my lips than a standard lip gloss product - around two and half hours verging on three hour mark.

A few little note on the Colour Quench Balms is that they all have a slight sweet fragrance,
think vanilla candy and you will have the general idea.
Although they are scented it is nothing to be concerned about as the scent is mild and taste free when worn.
