which has been inspired by the Indian Festival of Colour.
The collection has 10 pieces in total ranging from subtle lip shades to beautiful bright and bronze eyeshadow
shades and with a new bronzing duo, there truly is something for everyone.
Next up we have the title piece from the collection - The Enchanted Eye Quartet and Liner Palette
which contains all you need to create an array of looks from a beautiful and bronze eye look
to a smoky sultry eye for evening wear.
The packaging of this piece is simply show stopping along with the Clarins typical golden compacts
it features intricate floral engravings on the case that have been inspired by the Indian Festival of Colour.
The engraving continues inside and on to both the liner and shadows,
I had a difficult time building up the courage to swatch each shade as I truly didn't want to rub off the delicate
embossing but make-up is to be worn and enjoyed not displayed!
Oh and as a side note yes this does come complete with two foam applicators which aren't terrible...
there's a sentence I never thought I'd be typing!
As mentioned this little golden compacted not only holds four eyeshadow shades but also a cream/gel liner.
The palette consists of three neutral shades, a golden warm bronze, a deep chocolate brown,
a light cool and rather frosty beige almost ivory shade and a royal purple.
The colour palette is very regal and will suit almost everyone
as there is a mix of warm and cool shades present.
On the whole the shadows are well formulated, soft and silky to the touch and wonderfully pigmented
but perhaps not the best for matte fans as all of the shades are shimmer based, some more so than others -
the lightest shade has chunky glitter and is slightly weaker in terms of colour pay off.
The lightest shade is also subject to quite a substantial level of product fall out.
On average when worn un-primed the eyeshadows wore a little over four hours
but do keep in mind my lids are oily, with primer it was closer to eight hours.
The thin bar like pan in the compact is a creamy almost gel like liner that is brown
but extremely deep in tone that it can read as black in some lights
Also the liner does have a slight golden shimmer finish but once worn it is barely noticeable.
In my experience the liner has slightly better lasting power compare to the powder shades
and wore for around five hours without primer and around the nine hour mark with a base.
Product Summary
Round Up - A pretty bronze based eye palette with a little pop of colour that comes complete with an eye liner which is convenient for travelling etc.
Best For - Fans of shimmer eyeshadows as the entire palette is based around this formula.
Pigmentation - (6/10) The lightest shade lets the quad down slightly.
Availability - All Clarins counters and via the Clarins web page £30/6g - link

The colour combination here is beautiful - putting a purple in there with the neutrals is quite unusual and I like it!
