Can I just say how glad I am that there is now a huge variety of light moisturisers on the market
as an oily skinned teenager there was next to none available and I often went without
rather than bog my skin down with a heavy product.

Given what I have just said it will be of no surprise that today I have a light moisturiser to share with you all!

"Boosts radiance and protects YOUTHFUL SKIN
We’ve blended antioxidant-rich acai, bilberry and goji berry with moisturising hyaluronic acid in this lightweight, easily absorbed lotion, for beautifully nourished, radiant, healthy-looking skin.
We’re proud to be one of the first companies in the UK to launch skincare enriched with Fairtrade certified ingredients. Power Berry Daily Moisture contains Fairtrade Brazil nut oil to moisturise
and antioxidant rooibos extract."

A quick note about the packaging, firstly I have a little soft spot for the shade of blue Neal's Yard
products come encased in - it's such a beautiful hue isn't it?

This particular moisturiser comes in a glass bottle complete with it's own pump
which isn't exactly travel friendly but will look wonderful on a dresser - superficially moi? Nervverrrrr!

However if travelling you could always decant a little into a plastic tub?
I love products with pumps as I waste less and it is a little more sanitary,
not that I have a problem using my hands on my own products...hell I know where they have been
and I do worry a little for those who say they can't use their hands to scoop out a product,
just how dirty are their hands?

The idea behind this moisturiser is to give the skin extra antioxidants through the berries
and the fair trade Brazil nut oil adds natural moisture without clogging the skin.
It also claims to radiate and give the skin a dewy glow.

I found the moisturiser to be really thin and light more of a lotion based product than a typical cream
which I prefer on my face as it really doesn't cope with moisture well at all.
It feels very light on the skin and does aborb very quickly but I can not vouch for the dewy effect
as my skin did not seem to be any different in terms of finish after applying.

That being said it didn't turn my into an oil slick either but lightly moisturised
and nourished my skin without being heavy in the slightest making it a great buy
for oily skins and/or those who have very young skin.

The one thing I didn't enjoy was the scent, I was hoping for a berry scent
perhaps with a creamy type finish that is typical of face products but rather this smells more
minty than berry and caught in my throat a few times as the scent is quite strong.
However it didn't sting or irritate my skin.
