I'm sure you have seen a few reviews of the new Max Factor Flipsticks pop up
basically the idea is that the duo makes lip art easy and effortless for us all.
Apparently each shade was hand picked by Max Factor's Global Creative Design Director Pat McGrath?

"Max Factor lets you push the boundaries of lip colour with its innovative double-ended design.
Colour Effect Flipstick features one rich and creamy colour and one lighter, iridescent lipstick shade.
The colour combinations were expertly matched by Max Factor make up artists
and the super-blendable formula lets you create your look with ease.
You can wear each colour alone, blended together, one on each lip,
or apply the second shade just to the centre of your lip.
This season it's all about lip artistry so get experimenting!"

The packaging feels a little cheap to me and does smack slightly of magazine freebie
if I am being critical but it is sturdy without being too bulky and is easy enough to use.
The lipsticks are smaller and narrower than your typical lipstick bullet,
this to allow precision application but they are a little more flimsy due to this reason
so I would suggest applying with a light hand to avoid breaking the product.

I picked up the red/coral duo Salsa Red - one end is a bright true red that has a light sheen finish
and the other is a lighter almost orange based coral that has a pearlescent/frost finish.
The idea is that the red shade is the base and you use the coral tone in all different manners
to create a whole array of looks i.e graduating colour, one lip a different shade from the other etc.
You can of course use the lipsticks individually if you so wish.
The idea is great but sadly the tones in Salsa Red are a little too alike to really create any striking look
but if you are a fan of more subtle lip looks then this is the duo from the collection to pick up.

Arm swatches show each shade individually swatched and then both combined.

One thing I want to mention is the pigmentation and formula of the Max Factor Flipsticks
each shade applies so easily and smoothly with amazing coverage and pigmentation.
It's seldom that a lipstick is opaque in one clean swipe but that is exactly what these duo's do,
even if lip art isn't your thing I do suggest swatching these in store as the formula is truly great.
I found both shades to be fairly creamy and non drying and due to the narrowness of the bullets
a complete breeze to apply - I even skipped liner with the red shade!
In terms of wear I found the shades to wear a little over three hours.

Product Summary
Round Up - A red/coral duo of lip shades that can be used alone or combined.
Best For - This particularly duo is best used as individual shades as the shade selection is too close
in colour to really do any noticeable lip art.
Pigmentation - (9/10) Really well pigmented.
