New Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Masks Reviews

A quick browse on Superdrug has alerted me that there are no less than five variants of the Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask range which is wonderful and welcomed - it wasn't all that long ago that I had to trawl the likes of eBay to get my sheet mask fix. I don't have all five versions (my local store is tiny but I have ordered the two newer masks to try so expect an update at some point) but I do have two of the most recent launches to share, and rather surprisingly I prefer them to the original Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask.

For the record, the original Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask is great but now that I have tried the others I do find that it perhaps isn't as suited to my skin type as I initially thought. The Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask was created as a suit-all option and to be of course a quick moisturising fix but sometimes, when combined with oily skin it can be a little too much of a good thing. If you have dehydrated or dry skin (or even have plans to board a long haul flight), this is the one for you. The combination of pomegranate extract, hyaluronic acid, and plant serum (nope still no clue what that exactly entails) will hydrate deeply, soothe, cool, brighten and plump the skin. It is a great quick fix but as I've said not always ideal for my every needy skin type. You can find it here via Superdrug for £1.99 - link.

The great thing about the new additions to the Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask range is that you can shop around and find a version that is almost tailor made for you complexion. If you have dry, tight or dare I say it stressed out skin thanks to spending too long in the sun, you may want to try out the Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask in Chamomile. This has been created to calm, comfort, reduce both irritation and tightness, as well as deeply nourishing the skin. Again this wasn't really created with oily skin in mind so it is not the version I call upon regularly, I can however vouch that after travelling no less than 27 hours, my skin was all but crying out for this soft but highly hydrating mask. Much like the original, the core ingredient is hyaluronic acid, plant serum and of course the Chamomile. You can find it here via Superdrug for £1.49 - link.

For those like myself with oily and/or combination skin, we have Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask in Green Tea, a clever re-balancing mask that manages the impossible; it delivers moisture to the areas that needs such treatment and controls oil elsewhere. If you have found any sheet mask in the past - Garnier or otherwise - to be a little too intense and perhaps noticed that your skin didn't absorb as much of the serum as you'd have liked, this is the mask for you. It is lighter, more refreshing and surprisingly does a great job and mattifying the skin without any tightness, and yet contains hyaluronic acid (alongside Green Tea and the every mysterious and yet to be deciphered plant serum) like the other Moisture Bomb  variants. You can find it here via Superdrug for £1.99 - link.

I haven't tried every budget nor readily available sheet mask within the UK, so I can't say the Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Masks are the best but I can say I haven't found a need to look elsewhere (I do still purchase and use Korean masks) and that says it all really.
