Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Masks Review

In case you have yet to notice, I rather enjoy a sheet mask or 11 - truthfully my stash is getting a little out of hand but on the very sunny, plus side my skin has never looked better. One of my favourite sheet mask providers (yes this newbie now has favourites) has to be Tony Moly: fun, affordable and most importantly they provide results.

Tony Moly has been making such waves of exctiment amongst the skin care community, that the brand is now stocked via Sephora and the demand for the I'm Real Sheet Masks is through the roof - yes, you guessed it they are forever sold out. For now don't worry about stockists (I'll hook you up at the end of this post) but rather let me help guide you towards your perfect sheet mask.

Before I share all 11 (yes 11) variants of the Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Masks, let me briefly explain what a sheet mask is and how it is best utilised. I'll save you the horrific image of me wearing a sheet mask and perhaps burn one, forever in your memory - a sheet mask is just that, a cotton or fibre sheet that has been doused in serum. You gently remove the delicate piece of cloth from the packaging, smooth out over freshly washed yet dry skin and leave for up to 30 minutes. If I am entirely honest the time frame is nothing more than a guide - I'd recommend a minimum of 15 minutes per mask but other than that it really is up to you. If your skin is dehydrated or dry, you may notice that the mask dries out before the suggested time frame is over. Upon removal of your mask, massage in any remaining product residue and be on your merry way (you can use as a first step in a skincare routine or as a solo treatment - day and/or night) - it really is as simple as that.

Now on to the review...

Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Masks Review

Tony Moly I'm Real Aloe Sheet Mask
If I was to board a flight tomorrow, this is the mask I would stash into my carry on luggage. A gentle yet deeply hydrating mask, that comforts and soothes the skin in as little as 10 minutes. From the very first use my skin was plump, soft and free from tightness due to the current cold snap and artificial heat situation. I also feel this would be the perfect mask to rely upon come the warmer weather, when skin can become a little uncomfortable due to the heat. A great, quick and gentle moisturising treat that will suit just about all skin types. I should quickly add this has a very clean, fresh fragrance - not typical of Aloe but pleasant none the less.

Tony Moly I'm Real Avocado Sheet Mask
This is one of my favourite sheet masks ever and I mean ever. Again this does moisturise but it does so much more, it is the equivalent of downing a pint of water on a dry, hot day, followed by a fist full of vitamins. Don't ask me how but the serum in this mask does wonderful things to my skin - a quick 20 minute mask and suddenly I have soft, radiant skin that feel like it could take on the world if it wanted. If you are prone to dull skin (hangover induced or not) this is the face mask you want fighting your corner. Much like the above Aloe mask, this has no obvious fragrance - rather it is soft and again for lack of a better term, clean in scent.

Tony Moly I'm Real Broccoli Sheet Mask
I know what you are thinking - "I bet this smells gross!". Surprisingly not, there is no green, pungent vegetable scent - rather it is a fresh and typical of this brand, clean fragrance that is veering on pleasant if not overdone. This a great mask for normal or oily yet dull skin, it is not overly hydrating yet freshens, plumps and brightens. Not my favourite of the bunch but a great everyday pick me up - I tend to slap the Tony Moly I'm Real Broccoli Sheet Mask on my teenage sisters and tell them they'll thank me when they are older. I've reached my twenties and now think I'm oh so wise.

Tony Moly I'm Real Lemon Sheet Mask
Now this is what we call a slow burner, the first time I tried this mask I wasn't blown away - sure it featured a lovely almost sherbet like lemon scent but I didn't feel it garnered any results. Perhaps I was having an off skin day, because three applications later and I would say this is a contender for the best Tony Moly Sheet Mask of all. No it isn't the most hydrating but it will inject a little moisture, its super power is glow inducing properties. A quick 15-20 minute application and you will be the proud owner of a radiant skin, a glow so intense that only the hands of a trained facialist has ever been able to rival.

Tony Moly I'm Real Makgeolli Sheet Mask
I realise this claims to be a purifying mask but as you do not rinse off the aftermath of a sheet mask, I am going to have to question its cleansing ability. I feel this is best dubbed a balancing mask; one for oily and or problematic skin that requires a little oil control and general refreshment. I would recommend you avoid this should you have a drier complexion. Scent wise, yep you've guessed it - clean, fresh and nothing worth noting.

Tony Moly I'm Real Pomegranate Sheet Mask
My guess is that this has been created with more mature skins in mind but I would deem it suitable for all, especially if you have dried out, tight skin. For that very reason I would also imagine this would make a great travel companion. As you've most likely guessed Tony Moly I'm Real Pomegranate Sheet Mask is one of the more hydrating masks of the bunch, it will inject both moisture and life into tired, tight and uncomfortable skin which really couldn't be more ideal for the current season. I first tired Tony Moly I'm Real Pomegranate Sheet Mask after a bout of jet-lag and have to say it worked wonders - my tired, dull complexion was radiant, even though inside I was just about surviving...you know how it is.

Tony Moly I'm Real Red Wine Sheet Mask
A mask doused in red wine, now we are talking...am I right? I kid, it may surprise you that I actually very seldom drink alcohol - someone give this special snowflake a prize. Jokes aside this is my pick for blemish prone and/or oily complexions. This mask both brightens and comforts the skin, all the while re-balancing excess oil and gently nourishing as it goes. No it doesn't quite clear out pesky blocked pores, nor does it reduce the size but then again what does? If like myself you sometimes find typical based clay masks a little striping yet want to refresh and balance your overly oily complexion, this is my recommendation. Sadly (or not, I'm unsure) this does not have a grape based scent - once again it is a bog standard, clean and very atypical skin care fragrance. You can't win them all.

Tony Moly I'm Real Rice Sheet Mask
Sensitised skin in need of a treat? Tony Moly I'm Real Rice Sheet Mask is the mask for you - this gentle, soothing yet nourishing treat will nurse your delicate skin back to good health and leave you feeling perfectly relaxed while doing so. If you are wary about sheet masks, or have a temperamental skin type this a great mask to stock up on. Surprisingly this does have a milky scent - it is weird how some of the masks within this range have their own fragrance and others don't?

Tony Moly I'm Real Seaweed Sheet Mask
Again I'm going to say ignore the mask's cleansing claim and tell you that once you look beyond this, it is a great skincare find. Easily the most cooling of the bunch and the ideal, post-exercise treat as it calms, cools and reduces redness - or at least in my experience at least. I also found this mask to be fairly hydrating without overwhelming my skin but deep enough to reduce tightness and general dry skin discomfort. Not my favourite of the bunch but one I would happily use time and time again.

Tony Moly I'm Real Tea Tree Sheet Masks
Yep this does exactly what it says on the tin, or should that be packet. A cooling, skin soothing face mask that helps to reduce redness, skin inflammation and may if used over the course of a few nights help to clear any existing blemishes. A great choice for skin redness and those with a blemish prone complexion. Perhaps a little too much information here but I do tend to bust my Tony Moly I'm Real Tea Tree Sheet Masks out around that time of the month - y'know when my skin is less than behaving.

Tony Moly I'm Real Tomato Sheet Mask
Lastly we have Tony Moly I'm Real Tomato Sheet Mask, a mask which I dub my mid-week pick me up. Again this does not have a vegetable like stench so don't let that put you off, rather turn to this mask if you need a quick skin refresher and to appear like you have had a good night of sleep, when really you are running on fumes. I also recommend this mask as a pre-dinner/drinks/going out treat, I find that after using this my make-up glides on so much easier.

Now the tough part/s: you have to decide if you want a single mask, a few to stash away or all 11. I will be blunt and say that, yes owning all 11 is great value for money but chances are not all will suit skin types, rather I suggest being selective. Below I have listed a few purchase options but if you have any questions, hit me up via the comment section and I'll reply tonight.
