This is a sponsored post in conjunction with the brand TOTM, all thoughts and opinions expressed throughout this post are my own.
Feminine hygiene products are seldom spoken about and yet it is something the vast majority of us use regularly. It is time we all got past the "embarrassment" factor and openly discussed our options a little more freely; without discussion I would not have been introduced to TOTM - Time of the Month products. You may not be familiar with TOTM just yet but if you are conscious of what you put near your body, and the environment in general this is one personal hygiene brand you can not afford to miss.
Did you know that tampons and sanitary towels have been around since the 1930's and since then - yes 80 odd years later - the materials used to construct such products has not changed all that much. Most products of this category rely upon viscose and rayon which are often bleached and chemically treated. Now I don't know about you but when it comes to my body and what I put inside it, I would rather veer towards a more organic and if possible natural route.
The Time of the Month (or TOTM for short) range are as kind to the body as they are the environment, each tampon or pad is constructed from non-GM (Genetically Modified) organic cotton, that is both responsibly sourced as well as being completely biodegrable. As such the TOTM products are softer than soft and a little more comfortable than to what I have experienced in the past.
TOTM aim to make periods a little easier with no less than seven different tampon options, coupled with three varieties of pads, all of which retail for around the same price as the market leader of feminine hygiene products. As impressive as all of the above may be, what really blew me away is the when placing your Time of the Month order you can not only schedule your delivery date but also arrange for a re-occurring order so it is one less thing to worry about. I also think TOTM should be commended for their packaging approach: simple, pretty and not glaringly obvious that each box contains feminine products - not that there ever should be any embarrassment associated with such natural process.
Tampons and sanitary pads may not be your go-to conversation starter but as your online beauty blogging friend I urge you to try out TOTM for yourself, and then maybe direct a few friends and family members in the same direction.
You can find out more about TOTM products and of course order/subscribe - here.
