Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil

I go through tub after tub of Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm as I have a tendency to use more than I need; a habit that expands across all Cleansing Balms I own which can quickly become expensive. As much as I enjoy and use Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, I have often longed for a similar formulation but in oil form - y'know for those days where time is of the essence. Fortunately for me it seems my prayers have been answered in Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil.

Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil

The first thing I want to mention about Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil is the price, Elemis are not a budget brand and for all the right reasons - great innovation and ingredients. As such I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil retails at £29.50 for a whopping 195ml of product (£10 less than the Elemis Cleansing Balm) - I would not be surprised if one bottle of this oil lasts for up to six months and that is using it twice a day. As this comes complete with a pump dispenser there is no spills, waste or guess-timation when it comes to application: one to two quick pumps of product, apply to dry skin, quickly massage in small circular motions and rinse clear. It couldn't be easier nor more effective.

Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil has been blended with over 90% natural oils and I'm told has been formulated to respect the skin's natural pH balance; it won't strip the skin and yet it does effectively and deeply cleanse, perhaps more so than your average non-oil based cleanser. I own a good few cleansing oils and would say that Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil has a slightly lighter than normal texture - great if you aren't a huge fan of oils on the whole but enjoy the benefits. Now back to ingredients, the Omega element is provided by Winter Rose oil (yep no lard traces in sight), this is naturally rich in Omega-9 which is known for its anti-inflammatory qualities. This is alongside Chia seed which not only nourishes and moisturises the skin but is a key ingredient in terms of make-up removal, it does so gently gently and protects the skin's natural barrier. Lastly Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil contains vitamin-rich Pomegranate for a shot of radiance and of course to promote plump, soft skin too.

Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil

Having used Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil for close to a month now, I can vouch that not only is this user friendly - it quickly melts off all traces of make-up and general grime and without any tugging or pulling at the skin; this is all the while leaving the skin feeling comforted and dare I say fresh. As someone with an easily aggravated, acne prone skin, I am also happy that despite being an ingredient rich and natural oil based product, this has not irritated my skin in the slightest. Much like I mentioned above, yes this is moisturising but thanks to the lighter texture it is suitable for all skin types and possibly needs too.

Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil is another hit and mostly like bathroom staple-to-be too. You can find it via Debenhams for £26.55 via Debenhams - link.
