I've briefly mentioned that in the coming months I do fully intend of purchasing and trailing more, natural focused beauty brands. I tend to gravitate towards products and companies that I have yet to read or hear about, as such I do find some great, hidden gems. One being the Kiyoko Lip Balm, which comes with its own achingly hip back-story.
Kiyoko is a lifestyle brand that consists of three products: two sweaters and one lip balm, that are the brain-child of two sisters. The idea is of course a simplistic approach with unisex, staple items that will forever serve you well. Forget fast fashion and beauty, this brand is all about creating new and well loved key items. As I am by no means a style blogger, I will allow you discover Kiyoko's cosy, grey sweaters on your on accord and focus my attention towards Kiyoko Lip Balm.
Forgetting the entirely natural product for one moment - isn't the metallic, bare-minimum packaging the dream? It is understated yet cool, each silver bottle is hand labelled with four different labels/captions to collect (rest assure the balm remains the same throughout the series), each of which will make you chuckle.
I am pleased to report that pretty casing aside, Kiyoko Lip Balm is a stellar blend of all natural, skin softening ingredients such as: Cacao Seed, Honey, Vitamin E, Lanolin and Japanese wax. The end result is a translucent, soft, yet non-greasy skin replenishing balm that can be used not only on the lips but also anywhere else on the body that you find dry patches. It glides on with ease, instantly nourishes and has a scrumptious sweet honey scent that should appeal to most. A little goes a long way and I rather like the entire non-fuss approach: from the presentation to par-downed ingredient line up. It may just surprise you to learn that this wonder balm is fairly affordable at £10, purchase it now before it reaches cult status.
You can find Kiyoko Lip Balm via Trove for £10/15ml - link.

Sounds like a more natural version of Dr Lipp's Nipple Balm, which also reached cult status! Beautiful packaging as well - reminds me of L'Occitane hand creams.
