I'm not big on technology but I do like a pretty phone case or two, and you could say that I have spent many a hour, scrolling and debating what Skinny Dip phone case will grace my phone next. Did I squeal when when the latest Birchbox landed, complete with Skinny Dip packaging and phone case? You and my neighbours both know I did.

Birchbox x Skinny Dip

This month Birchbox have teamed up with Skinny Dip to create two limited edition boxes, two pastel, shell printed, foil adorned boxes that you will want to collect and hoard forever. Yes forever. The contents inside may differ slightly but in my opinion all of this months selections are great. Before I share what you will find inside, I do want to mention that Birchbox subscribers can add the Birchbox x Skinny Dip phone case to their box for an additional £4 (usually £12 as a stand alone item). The holographic shell case is the next best thing to a shell phone (can you hear the ocean?) - I can almost guarantee you'll get a better signal and less barnacles.

So yes the contents:

Lord and Berry Silhouette Neutral Lip Liner - a waxy and completely transparent lip liner, rather than using this to over line and tint the lips, this is best deployed as a safe guard. Simply line the lips as you would with any lip liner to prevent your lipstick from smudging, feathering or bleeding. As an added bonus you can also use all over the lips before applying colour as a lip primer to prolong lipstick wear.

Living Proof Restore Instant Repair - a hair care brand I really need to invest further in. This clever leave in product not only seals the hair, providing instantly smoother and glossier locks (ideal for disguising split ends in between salon appointments) but it also protects the hair against future damage.

Trilogy Make Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm - a fairly firm cleansing balm that removes even the heaviest of foundation without being harsh. It leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and to some degree nourished, unlike other cleansing balms this is a breeze to remove. I'm enjoying it so much that I am going to invest in the full size version of this cleanser.

REN Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial - an overnight brightening and restoring treatment. If you want brighter skin without the fuss this is the product for you. I'm still trailing a full sized tube of this but so far I can say that it does create a healthy, natural glow that is difficult to achieve with other products.

Cowshed Cow Pat Hand Cream - a rich and luxurious, non-greasy yet deeply hydrating hand cream that has been formulated using essential oils. The dinky size is perfect for on the go applications and of course, stashing in your handbag or coat pocket.

English Laundry Notting Hill Femme Eau de Parfum - The one product that I'm not overly keen on but then again I'm not a huge fan of perfume vials in general. The scent does nothing for me but you may enjoy it, if you lean towards fragrances that feature bergamot, mandarin, and cassis notes.

A £10 giftvoucher to spend at Skinny Dip - need I say more?

A great box, wouldn't you agree? You can purchase your own here via Birchbox for £10 (+£2.95 p&p) - link.
