I think most in some degree we are all familiar with the iconic cobalt blue and white jars of Nivea Creme. Perhaps you grew up watching your Mother and/or Grandmother swearing by it's multi-purpose uses (they aren't wrong), or maybe you rely on the thick yet non-greasy cream to hydrate dry skin on the go and at home? Either way I'm sure we can all agree that the scent and packaging is instantly recognisable, and it is a product we all have a place for within our beauty stashes?
To celebrate a new and permanent size of Nivea Creme (a handy yet generous 75ml tin), Nivea have just launched four, super adorable and collectable 75ml tins - seriously, good luck resisting them. The four tins feature the cutest illustrations from Joelle Tourlanias, all of which have been inspired by real life occurrences made all the sweeter in 2D form. If that isn't enough to warm the cockles of your heart, inside the lid of each tin is a link to an online fairytale, written by children's author Udo Weigelt. At £1.99 they make the perfect, small Christmas gift be it to pop into a festive stocking on Christmas Eve, as a secret Santa gift or just to treat yourself (you deserve it).
It's all well and good sharing photos and information about the new and limited edition designs of the Nivea Creme but what about the actual creme? Well it is scented, to me it has a certain sunscreen scent (it doesn't contain SPF), not unpleasant but certainly recognisable. The creme itself if fairly thick but as mentioned above it is not greasy, quick to absorb and does instantly hydrate. It can be used everywhere: face, body and hands, I guess you don't earn cult status by under-performing - it has been around since 1911 after all.
You can find the limited edition Nivea Cream Tales Tins via Boots for £1.99/75ml each - link.
