Caudalie Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil

At the end of the day I look forward to one thing, and one thing only; taking off my make up. I think half of the fun of a beauty routine is the applying of products, the other half? The removal. Personally I find my skin reacts best to an oil based cleanser, be it a balm, liquid or gel - the slip of the oil doesn't dry out my skin, quickly melts make up and deep cleanses, ensuring that I don't further irritate my acne prone complexion. A recent skin care find that feels far more luxurious than its £18 price tag is the newly launched Caudalie Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil.

Caudalie Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil

Caudalie Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil not only comes in a handy pump dispenser bottle to minimise waste - trust me you'll be thankful for it when your hands are slippery it also contains natural oils too. A gentle blend of sunflower seed oil (anti-inflammatory), sweet almond oil (emollient), vitamin E (protects against free radicals) and grapeseed oil (moisturising and very light in texture), fuse together for a deeply cleansing experience that won't strip the skin nor leave behind a greasy residue. As a side note (because I'm not sure where else to slot this nugget of information into the review), the fragrance is rather comforting - a light almond scent that reminds me (and probably many others too) of marzipan.

As weird as this may sound, the light texture of Caudalie Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil is not overly oily; by this I simply mean it has a fine, non-greasy texture that I am sure even the most avid oil hater could get on board with. On the skin it feels light, refreshing and more importantly it sets to work quickly. There is no foundation within my stash that Caudalie Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil can not remove - yes that includes Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation and the ever cumbersome Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation; both are removed in their entirety with one quick round of this oil. There is no need to endlessly rinse or wash your face after using
Caudalie Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil, it does not leave behind a greasy film nor does it have a tendency to stick to the skin - it truly is one of the easiest cleansing oils I have ever used. As an added bonus the Caudalie Make-up Removing Cleansing Oil is gentle enough to be used on the eye area and will effectively remove even waterproof mascara free from irritation.

If you enjoy cleansing oils and want something that will remove every scrap of make up (and daily grime), without drying out or irritating the skin, you need to try Caudalie Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil and sharpish at that.
