Apparently the original Calvin Klein Eternity fragrance launched 27 years ago and is still going strong, the more you know. This year sees two new Eternity additions and much like the name of the fragrance they are permanent - Calvin Klein Eternity Now, with separate versions for men and women. I'm not a fan of the original Calvin Klein fragrances full stop but the recently launched Summer CK One version won me over, as has Calvin Klein Eternity Now for Women Eau de Parfum. Modern, easy to wear and surprisingly light yet long wearing.
In true Calvin Klein style, the bottle is both simple and classic, it doesn't truly hint to the fragrance inside but rather offers mass appeal. I realise I may be getting a little ahead of myself here but such design lends itself well to gifting (I've purposely danced around the festive word beginning with a "C"), there is not a person out there in which this bottle would offend style wise and to an extent, that is how I would describe the fragrance of Calvin Klein Eternity Now for Women too.
Calvin Klein Eternity Now for Women Eau de Parfum is perhaps best described as a soft fruity floral. Forget bright, loud, punchy scents that dominate the market within the Summer months; Eternity Now is soft, delicate and has a certain etherealness. It reminds me a little, and just a little of Cerruti 1881 Femme Eau de Toilette - if anyone can recall such fragrance? My Aunt still wears it to this very day so it very much fresh in my mind. The main difference is Eternity Now is a little more fruity and dare I say it modern.
Rather than bore you with any further tales of comparison or my family for that matter, let me give you a run down of the note composition: at the top we have notes of litchi, and quince sorbet, at the heart there is peony, peach blossom and neroli petals, and at the cashmere, ambrox and musk. Oddly there is no mention of grapefruit which is what I can definitely detect, not so much once the fragrance has dried down but on first application it is there. If you want a soft white floral fragrance, that is tinged with accents of sweet yet icy fruit notes that is gentle yet long wearing, you must try Calvin Klein Eternity Now for Women. It may well be what you have been looking/waiting for.
