We've reached that time of the year in which there is bound to be a few balmy, humid and generally uncomfortable days which more often than not affects my complexion. When out and about I really don't want to remove my make-up to cool down and when at home I don't always want nor need to wash my face. Enter the new and limited edition Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense.
You would be more than forgiven for being instantly attracted to the new and limited edition Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense purely for the packaging. I know I was, a dreamy glowing pink ombre bottle with a beautifully designed floral print box - all of which is a nod to the rose based elixir within. Packaging seldom comes prettier than this, that is for sure.
Luckily the contents are equally spectacular and the purchase of each bottle helps fund a very worthy cause but more on that later. As you can imagine the whole idea of the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense is to cool, calm and refresh the skin, all the while conditioning and restoring the skin. The core ingredient isn't one but five different extracts of Rose (including Rosa Gallica and Rosa Damascena) all of which grown on Jurlique's farm in Australia. As an added bonus the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense is bursting full of natural anti-oxidants which can help to both shield the skin from environmental factors as well as aiding the natural renewal process.
The spray itself is oddly light yet refreshing, by that I mean it will not soak the skin nor remove any make-up on the face. I find it to be somewhat toning, to a degree my skin feels a little firmer and plumper after each use. The results are of course very much temporary but then again it is only a facial mist, it doesn't claim to do anything other than soothe and cool. Speaking of which not only is this ideal for misting on the face when needed but anywhere on the body, it gently scents and helps you to cool down when needed.
As mentioned above the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense aims to do some good for both the skin and the world. With every purchase of said mist, a 5% donation goes directly to the Jurlique 'Ideas of Beauty Fund' which has been created to support charities that help people and nature bloom. The money raised by the fund is put to great use to both improve quality of life and of course make the world a beautiful place to live. I don't get to say this often but Jurlique is a beautiful brand both inside and out.
The limited edition Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense is exclusive to Look Fantastic and retails for £45/200ml - link.
