Now that we are in the midst of Summer loose, carefree beachy waves are all I and I'm sure others can think about in terms of hair styles. The problem is that a lot of products aimed at creating such style have a tendency to not only dry my hair out but also comes hand in hand with a crispy texture. No thank you. Well the struggle is over, let me introduce you to Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Spray - a hair care innovation if ever there was one.
Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Spray is unlike other salt/surf sprays as it contains a combination of both hair nourishing oils to add sheen and moisture as well as sea salt to create soft, summer ready waves and texture without damaging or drying out the hair. I should also add that the other selling point of Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Spray is that it is a complete breeze to use - simply mist through damp hair, scrunch if you wish and allow the hair to dry. It really is that easy.
Despite containing an abundance of tropical oils : Coconut, Mango Seed, Passion Fruit and Palm oil (all of which soften, condition and smell incredible - a little like sun oil) this is an extremely light hair product. It does not weigh down the hair nor does it leave it greasy and as mentioned above it is not in the slightest drying. The addition of sea salt of course encourages the hair to set into bouncy, natural waves that does mimic the effect of a dip in the ocean without the noted damaging side effects. Unlike other hair styling products this contains ingredients that will protect the hair not just from day to day elements such as pollution but also from UV damage. Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Spray contains Coconut fruit and Algae extracts to moisturise and nourish that hair which is combined with UV inhibitors to guard against the drying effects of the sun and Summer in general. Like I said it is a clever little hair product that does all it says it will and more.
I must warn that Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Spray is best washed out the hair rather than combed or brushed out as it can leave the hair a little knotted after a day or two of wear/use. The good news is that the Infusion Spray is suited to all hair types but those with naturally straight and wavy hair types will benefit most from the it in terms of styling. If you do have naturally curly hair and want to add a little volume, texture or even moisture and protection it could well be worth trying.
If you have tried all other salt/wave sprays and have been left disappointed don't give up until you give Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Spray a whirl - it revolutionary and well worth the investment if wavy, just come from the beach locks is what you crave.
