Herborist Launches in the UK

One of my favourite things about beauty blogging is discovering new brands - not always new to the market but unfamiliar to myself and others. An upcoming brand launch coming to the UK is Herborist, a company that draws on the inspiration of traditional Chinese medicine.

"China's botanical tradition is among the oldest in the world. For thousands of years, herbal therapy has been recognized as one of the most effective treatment methods in traditional Chinese medicine, along with acupuncture and Tui Na massage. Drawing on the wealth of resources available, Chinese herbology benefits from rare plants that grow in vastly different environments and weather conditions. Herborist can thus select the most effective plants from the heart of the immense botanical garden that is China, from the hills of Guizhou to the height of the Himalayas."

I've only just began testing the products so I can't offer up a review as of yet (I shall report back in a month or so) but what I can attest to is the brands philosophy. Herborist skincare products have been developed to be not only gentle but deeply effective; the brands objective is not to be harsh on skin, but to repair, balance and care for it over time to re-establish the good habits of healthy skin. I also like that Herborist states that skin care is only one of the key factors in achieving and maintaining good skin - they believe in a change of habits - take time for yourself, learn to slow down, eat healthier and establish a good beauty routine. A brilliant no fuss attitude wouldn't you agree?

Each product is also formulated using natural active ingredients (no less than 35 per product) and as a brand they have over 1000 skin care patents. I have read up on brand and the reviews seem to be stellar, especially in regards to the facial masks. Herborist has yet to launch in the UK but you can sign up for more information, and to be one of the first to know when the products are available via Feel Unique here - link.

A very exciting launch wouldn't you agree? If you have tried the products or are familiar with the brand do feel free to share your recommendations below!
