Rituals Tao Collection

Rituals don't nearly get enough praise: affordable, beautifully scented and formulated with numerous ranges that are aimed at helping you find a little balance within your life, be it inner harmony or happiness. The latest collection is Rituals Tao which has been developed to encourage the user to cast aside a little me time each day, to unwind, breathe and focus - it doesn't hurt that Tao scent is nothing short of incredible.

As Rituals Tao collection promotes relaxation I am sure you will not be surprised to learn that the fragrances within the range are soothing, delicate and great for aiding the wind down process come the evening. I was very kindly gifted two products within the range: Rituals Wu Wei Foaming Bath (£13.50) which features a light, almost green tinged floral fragrance of White Lotus that is both fresh and calming at the same time. This bath foam has also been infused with the skin-softening benefits of Yi Yi Ren (a Chinese herb). Unlike typical bath products this gently foams rather than producing endless amounts of bubbles, the result is a softer experience. The frothy foam gently moisturises the skin and of course offers up a degree of cleansing ability without drying or stripping the skin. Rituals claim that the 500ml bottle will last up to 10 baths but I feel 12-15 uses is more realistic.

The other product I have been trialling is Rituals Qing Fa (£11.50), a cooling foot scrub that again features Yi Yi Ren but has been coupled with Chinese Mint to freshen, revitalise and cool the skin. Unlike typical foot scrubs the fragrance is more than enjoyable and the texture is not at all harsh - the thick cream gently polishes away any traces of dead or dry skin with next to no effort. The added bonus of it being mint scented is that it can help to deodorise the feet - ideal with the sweaty Summer season firmly en route.
