Three New Hairbrushes to Try

I often speak about new make-up brushes but very seldom do I mention what is new within the world of hair brushes. I guess they simply aren't as exciting but guess what the vast majority of us use them on a daily basis and what if I told you there is new tools out there to speed up the drying process, create sleek locks and/or infuse your hair with argan oil. Hold on to your seat ladies and gents the hair brush game just got interesting!

Three New Hairbrushes to Try

First up we have the EcoTools Ultimate Air Dryer Hair Brush (£9.99), an oddly shaped hair brush which has been designed to allow ease of drying the hair. The shape allows the air from a hair dryer to reach more hair thus speeding up the overall use time - up to 40%, which is great for when you are in a rush. It is rather easy to use and hold, glides through the hair without snagging and of course cruelty free. I can vouch that it works, I would say the 40% claim is over stretching but the drying process is certainly quicker. The only downside is that my hair isn't as sleekly styled when using this opposed to say a round brush, nothing a quick glide of my hair straighteners can not solve.

If straight hair is what you crave then the Straight 'N' Go Brush (£9.99) is the one for you, a firm yet kind to the hair brush that clamps the hair while drying to create sleek, silky locks without the need for additional styling tools. The Straight 'N' Go brush features dual sided ceramic plates which trap the heat from the hair dryer encouraging the hair to dry quicker and of course due to the clamp style it straightens as it goes. It really is clever and a far gentler way to achieve straight and sleek styles that are long lasting.

Just when you think you've heard it all, along comes the Mark Hill Blow Out Moroccan Argan Oil Brushes (from £9.99). Not only is this a great sized barrel brush that can be used to create bouncy curls, voluminous blow dry's or as an everyday brush to de-tangle and style but the barrel has been infused with real argan oil. The idea is that when the brush comes in contact with heat that the protective oil gently coats the hair, conditioning and preventing the hair from snagging and of course future damage. The good news is that the oil is not at all noticeable on the hair, completely weightless but does allow the brush to glide through the hair with ease. Oil infusion aside this is one of the better round brushes I have used in a long while as it features both short and long bristles of different textures which really grip on to the hair providing a great blow dry, all the while being gentle.. If you are in the market for a new barrel brush this is one I fully recommend.
