If like myself you enjoy showering (or bathing) more than the average person, this post is for you. A whole medley of new bath and body products that won't break the bank yet leave you smelling and feeling rather glorious. Here is what is currently new on a beauty shelf near you...
Original Source Body Butter Lime and Coconut (£5.99 via Boots)
Some products have the ability to transport you elsewhere, this takes me directly to the beach if only in my mind. The Lime and Coconut scent reminds me instantly of sun tan lotion and dare I say it cocktails - if a summer holiday is a long way off and you need a pick me up, this should be the next product you purchase. Not only does it smell great but the thick texture is instantly hydrating not to mention quickly absorbed, packed with essential oils such as Lime and Coconut it will leave your skin touchably soft and beautifully scented.
Original Source Skin Quench Daily Scrub Blood Orange (£2.70 via Boots)
As to be expected this smells incredible: juicy, zesty and of course citrus based - the perfect morning wake-up call. If you enjoy the scent of fresh oranges this is a must have on your shower rack. Any product that offers a 2-in-1 benefit will most likely grab my attention; I am lazy and like to make the most of my shower. Not only does the Original Source Skin Quench Daily Scrub Blood Orange cleanse the skin but it contains natural (the brand doesn't specify what) scrub particles to gently buff the skin with each use. The result is you have softer and smoother skin with each use with very minimal effort!
Imperial Leather Sweet Shower Gels (85p each via Tesco)
While in Tesco yesterday my sister and I spotted what we are assuming to be two new fragrances within the already expansive Imperial Leather line up: Marshmallow and Fruit Salad. At just 85p each we snapped up a bottle of each and tested each retrospectively. As far as shower gels go they are pretty basic but do get the job done, just don't expect any additional benefits such as long lasting fragrance or hydration - the scents are the real selling point. Imperial Leather Comforting Marshmallow is soft, fluffy, sugary and very feminine in scent - I adore it and do think it is close to the real sweet treat. Imperial Leather Mouthwatering Fruit Salad smells exactly like the chew sweets, a blend of pineapple and orange which will help awaken even the sleepiest of heads. At 85p each these were a complete bargain and could double up as bubble baths!
Much like I mentioned above I can be quite lazy but do enjoy soft skin hence why I am a sucker for in-shower moisturisers. I have tried the Nivea version which I do enjoy but would be fibbing if I said I was truly blown away, enter Superdrug Vitamin E Shower Moisturiser. This £3 wonder product is a dream product, the thick texture gently cleanses and deeply moisturises the skin in one quick step. If you don't have the time or gumption to moisturise your body daily this is the next best thing - it is very much like washing with a rich body lotion. I can not recommend it enough!
Shower's are well on their way to replacing baths if you ask me! Then again no-one did...
Mmm Lime & Coconut - I ended up once again smelling like sherbet last nightx

Comforting Marshmallow sounds right up my street, sounds like it could be close to Lush's Snow Fairy in it's sweetness.
