Weekly Beauty Favourites

Recently make-up has taken a back seat to my obsession with body products, namely scrubs and oils - I can not get enough! My new favourite thing to do is come home, have a shower, scrub my skin and then lather myself in oil. As you can tell I lead a very exciting life! Luckily my beauty routine involves more than just scrubs and oils so I do have a few other much loved products I'd like to share this week...

Let's just get this out of the way, my current go to body dream team are a quick scrub with the delicious Lush Ocean Salt Body Scrub (it smells like a cocktail), coupled with a liberal application of Caudalie Divine Oil. My body has never been softer nor smelt better. 

If you are looking for gentle skin care that effectively moisturises as well as protecting the skin, I can not recommend La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra Fluid enough, this light moisturiser has been a miracle worker on my easily irritated acne prone skin. It cools, calms and moisturises without overwhelming the skin. Personally I like to team the matching La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra Contour Yeux Eye Cream with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum to gently replenish and restore my currently aggravated eye area. 

Two notable additions to my make-up bag are Too Faced Intense Eyeshadow in Copper Peony - a bright, true golden copper that makes my blue eyes pop. I don't own too many Too Faced products but have to say that the pigmentation and formula of this is incredible and so easy to work with. As much as I love lipstick I have been somewhat shunning it in favour of tinted lip balms, if you are a fan of Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream you need to try out the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Sheer Tints - I am obsessed. Currently I have been wearing the shade Blush which is a beautiful, natural sheer pink shade - it is so easy to slick on and go, not to mention that it hydrates, protects and soothes the lips. I most likely will purchase the other two shades within the range as this is pretty much my idea of a perfect tinted lip balm.
