Origins Mask Marvels Set

Every now and then I find myself in Boots, most likely for something mundane like cotton pads only to leave with products I really don't need. This time around I have no regrets as I believe I have scored the skin care bargain of the century and the good news it is still in stock as we speak, along with a brand wide 3 for 2 on skin and body care.

Origins Mask Marvels Set

Origins Mask Marvels Set was £60 now £20 via Boots - link
Three of Origins best selling masks for £20 - okay they are 75ml each which is 25ml short of full sized but they are still really well priced at just over £6 each. I really only wanted to purchase Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask but seeing as it was £23 and this set was £20, it was a really easy decision. You also get a 75ml tube of Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask for dried out and/or dehydrated skin and Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask to rescue problem and sensitised skin. Basically this little mask kit has something for all skin woes and is such a bargain. Can you tell I am pleased with myself?

Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask £6.99 via Boots - link
I purchased this on a whim, I don't really need another clay based mask but I have read a few reviews that this is as good if not better than the above Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask. Into the Gloss have also gave this mask the seal of approval so hopeful and at just under £7, I figure it is worth a try. As someone with acne prone skin and an abundance of enlarged pores I do use clay masks fairly regularly to deeply cleanse, reduce shine and somewhat clear up my skin. I will put this to the test this week and report back soon.

Maybelline The Smokes Eyeshadow Palette £9.99 via Boots - link
I purchased the Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette in the US last year and rather like it, a well priced neutral palette with a great range of shades and finishes. I am utterly confused to why the Nude version has not made it to the UK? It is a no brainier if you ask me? Large neutral palettes always do well and have done for at least the last four years. Anyway I purchased the sister palette Maybelline The Smokes Eyeshadow Palette which features more deep, night ready hues that are fairly sultry. It reminds me a little of the new Smashbox Double Exposure Palette only less than half the price. The Smokes is a nice enough assortment of shades and finishes for that matter but if you can I do recommend checking out The Nudes. As a side note those are scratches on my palette - the downside of ordering online.

If you do need to replenish your skincare stash I recommend popping into Boots before the 17th as there is an extensive 3 for 2 promotion over the skin and body care brands. I have no idea what stores will still have the Origins Mask Marvels Set and if it will be reduced in-store but you never know!
