Let me set the scene; you have oily, prone to blemishes yet easily irritated skin which on occasion will become dried out due to the often stripping nature of products aimed at such skin concerns. The last thing you want to do is overwhelm your skin with heavy moisturisers that aren't suited for your complexion's needs and yet you need deep nourishment. Sound familiar? If so then La Roche-Posay's latest launches should be your next skin care splurge.
The new La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra skin care line up is a soothing, non-oily. light and non-greasy textured daily care range that features Neurosensine - a strong soothing agent to instantly target skin irritation. Unsurprisingly each product contains La Roche-Posay thermal spring water to naturally soothe and calm irritation. Each products is also preservative-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, colorant-free and lanolin-free - in other words very, very gentle. If like myself you are a little wary of germs and products expiring quickly due to air exposure you will be pleased to know that the new collection is presented within a new generation of ultra-hermetic packaging.
I was very kindly sent the La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra Fluide which is a light, almost lotion like moisturiser that feels weightless on the skin yet is quickly absorbed. I must stress it is very early days as far as testing goes but I can vouch that is non-greasy, hydrates beautifully and is wonderful for wearing under make-up. There is also La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra Eye Contour which again is a super light weight, almost liquid eye cream that soothes, tightens and prevents further irritation of the eye area. If like myself you find a lot of eye creams result in your eyes watering and/or you suffer from hayfever this is one worth seeking out. At just under £10 it is a great everyday eye care solution for sensitive eyes that could be combined with an anti-ageing cream should you wish.
In a nutshell two very gentle yet effective products that will nurse stressed out, irritated and sensitive complexions without breaking the bank. As a current acne sufferer there is very little I can use or recommend but so far this seems very promising.
La Roche-Posay Toleraine Ultra Eye Contour £9.93/15ml via Escentual - link.
Have you tried the effaclar duo? I've been meaning to try their products but now I can't decide if I should go for that or these ones! haha

I have tried Effaclar duo+ and it's amazing. It really helped clear my skin. If you are trying to find something to target blemishes and improve your clogged pores and face texture than I would recommend effaclar duo+ but if you need a moisturizer for your makeup then this one in the post is a good one.
