Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Toilette

I have a few friends who wear the original Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Parfum which is a beautiful blend of rose and amber notes. I like it but find it wears a little heavy on me so I was rather excited to see the launch of the new Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Toilette, the same romantic notes only a little lighter, fresher and dare I say it more Spring/Summer appropriate.

So as you can imagine Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Toilette does share the same essence of the original Stella fragrance only this time around the central rose note has been replaced with a lighter Bulgarian Rose Essence. This has been coupled with fresh additions sparkling green notes along with fresh mandarin and frozen lemon, balanced with the watery tones of freesia which have been added to create a soft, dewy and altogether softer vibe.

I like to think of Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Toilette as the younger sister to the original Stella - it younger, more modern and slightly uplifting. I find it easier to wear as it is so light and refreshing, yes it is a rose based fragrance but not at all powdery nor dated. I'm not the hugest rose scent fan at the moment (I go through phases) and yet I can not get enough of this, it wears beautifully - gently clinging to skin all day long despite being an eau de toilette.

If you find the original Stella McCartney a little too strong then I highly recommend trying out Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Toilette, or perhaps you are already a fan and want a lighter alternative to the original? In a nutshell - a beautiful, lightly floral, carefree scent that is perfect for the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons.
