Weekly Favourites #68

Today it finally feels like Spring has sprung, it is a lot lighter here in Scotland and dare I describe the weather as mild. I am probably jinxing myself and the rest of Glasgow for that matter but long may it continue. The brightness not the jinxing that is. Before I sound too much like my Grandmother let me share what I have been enjoying as of late...

Weekly Favourites #68

I have three make-up favourites of the last week. First up we have my current base of choice - Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation which is a concealer and foundation in one. I kid you not when I say this leaves my skin flawless, medium to full coverage which is easily buildable without looking flat nor heavy. As someone with acne this has been a real confidence boost, it makes light work of disguising imperfections and really does live up to the name. A dream of a foundation formula. A full review will be live in the coming week.

At the moment I utterly swear by Soap & Glory's Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Quad in What's Nude, four super soft yet beautifully pigmented neutral eyeshadows that are a dream to work with. It is easily one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes of all time. Not bad for £10 huh?

Currently I am growing out my brows so there are a lot of products that really are of little use at the moment. To somewhat groom and shape the medley of sparse hairs on my forehead I have been relying on Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe. I rather enjoy how quick and easy it is to use, the overall colour of the product and how long it stays put on my oily skin.

I am attempting to buff my dried out Winter skin into tip top shape for the upcoming Spring/Summer seasons. My go to shower combination at the moment has to be any of the new Aussie Body Washes - they all smell great and cleanse beautifully. If you are in the need of something to awake you in the morning I suggest Fresh Mate but if you have dry skin go for the Shower Smoothie. I combine this with Kiehls Creme de Corps Body Lotion for hydrated, soft, smooth and supple skin with next to no effort.

To keep me upbeat and looking forward to the warmer seasons I have been indulging in Tom Ford's Costa Azzurra Eau de Parfum. It is divine. Aquatic, beachy yet slightly masculine and sexy at the same time. I can't get enough.

I apologise that in the top image there is a hint of my fries necklace, I was photographing it for something else and only realise when it came to uploading my photos. Whoops. If you are interested you can find it here for £6 - link.
