Three New Night Creams to Try

I am not for one moment suggesting that you purchase all three, unless you have a strong desire to own all the night creams. Rather I suggest you scan this post and uncover what is best for your skin type, with three to select from I'm confident the newest Spring launches will have something suitable for your needs.

Three New Night Creams to Try

As someone with really oily skin I do have to be careful with what I place on my skin and the most trying area of skincare does seem to be night cream. Most night targeted products tend to have a heavier and altogether creamier texture which my skin can not absorb. Enter Clinique Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream a light almost gel like night repair cream which quickly sinks into the skin hydrating and over time helping to define the natural contours of the face. I've openly spoken about my frown lines, they are far from deep but I can see them forming. A lifetime of speaking with my eyebrows, frowning and generally having an overly animated face has started to catch up on me. I have been applying Clinique Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream religiously to my forehead and jawline and have to say that it instantly tightens the skin as well as plumping lines. Yes my lines on my head may be fine but they are deep enough in which I can see if any product is having effect on them. No this won't be the miracle solution that many are hoping for but it does firm the skin without being heavy or greasy. I tend to apply this before a more nourishing night time moisturiser as I don't find it to be all that hydrating but the anti-ageing technology is probably some of the best out there. I will update with a full in-depth review once I have finished my tub!

A few years ago we saw the trend of sleeping masks which admittedly where a little too heavy for certain skin types, building on such innovation and formula is the newly launched Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream. A light, almost gel like consistency that not only moisturises the skin but also combats the signs of ageing and fatigue."The formula helps stimulate surface skin cell renewal for skin that looks refreshed and less tired. Skin looks smoother, wrinkles appear reduced and skin feels firmer, as if transformed." Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream leaves my skin feeling fresh, soft, plump and nourished without the need for a heavy texture that so many other night creams offer. As someone with often oily skin I would recommend this for all skin types, drier complexions may want to combine with a serum or oil (as can others if they wish) for optimum moisture. This somewhat reminds me of Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair only in cream form - a good nights sleep in jar. A great first step into anti-ageing products and generally a well priced night cream.

Not everyone wants nor needs anti-ageing technology some of us have dark spots and/or red acne scarring we would like to reduce. For this I recommend Kiehl's Clearly Corrective White Deep Moisture Clarifying Cream an almost emollient, light texture cream that will quench even the driest of skin yet is suitable for oily complexions too. Not only does it nourish but with continued use it can and will help to brighten the overall skin tone, reduce marks be they dark or from acne; creating an more even skin tone. I currently have my sister testing this who has dried out skin thanks to acne medication, it has only been a fortnight and I can see a visible difference - she may not agree as of yet. Her skin is no longer flaky and looks far softer. The reduction in scarring is something that will require patience but I shall keep you updated.

Does any of the above appeal to you?
