Pixi Correction Concentrate

Cream eyeshadows aren't anything new but what about a product that can be used as a cream eyeshadow, a base, a colour corrector, a concealer and depending on your skin tone a blush. Now that is what you call bang for your buck. Let me introduce you to Pixi Correction Concentrate.

Pixi Correction Concentrate is a light, peach toned small tub of solid cream that initially has been designed to be used on the under eye area to mask blue/purple tones of dark circles. The idea is that you apply this to the offending area, blend and then apply concealer and powder should you wish to mimic the appearance of a good nights sleep. This it does really well but it's uses don't end there. If like myself you have blue eyes then you must try this as a cream eyeshadow - the light orange tone makes blue eyes pop and teamed with the likes of Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette you can create beautiful, super wearable neutral looks. Should you have a light complexion the Pixi Correction Concentrate can double up as a pretty blush for a peaches and cream look or as a matte light nude lipstick.

The texture of the Pixi Correction Concentrate is quite thick which is somewhat a requirement for disguising the darkest of circles. If you are familiar with Benefit's Erase Paste then I guess that would be the most obvious comparison. Pixi Correction Concentrate does blend out a lot easier and doesn't feel as heavy on the skin but you do need to set with powder of some sort to eradicate the slightly sticky texture. On the plus side once set regardless of wear you apply it there is no creasing, flaking or colour fading even on the oiliest of areas - I am able to achieve at least 7 hours of wear per application.

Pixi Correction Concentrate is the product that keeps on giving and at £12 I feel like every make-up bag should contain a jar!
